Wow.. Fantastic work. This is looking really great.

I especially like waterfront and that port area.

Your creative use of Buddybudds highway walls also adds alot to your city.

Crap I missed another one.

On the first update the watch towers add flavor to your CJ with original ideas. I love how the tall buildings are right between the hills and the water. Looks like a postcard pic.

On the latter mosic it all fits in nicely with those trees. Good work on that!

Newspaper - much better layout than mine. Interesting stories to go along with it. All around great work!

Second update: More of that prfect postcard pic yay!

But my god what is the drydock in the lower part of the mosic. Its perfect for my port city!!!!!

And the mosic is great!

Your waterfronts are really great. The marina and the industrial area are both top notch. Often people do one well but forget about the other (industry is often left off the waterfront by many people even though its present in almost all real life harbour cities). You show what can be done with the available costal lots on the STEX. Excellent work.

SoNell: thank you! I will be showing more mosaics below2.gif

Mulefisk: hehem I'm glad you spotted the use if Buddybudd's walls in the port area, they certainly have a lot of uses IMO, not just merely for highways. Thanks for your comment mate44.gif

Leech10: Thanks, I have decided I will continue.

Yoman3: thank you, I think the watchtowers are special, I personally love them36.gif. Lol, a lot of people have said that about the post card effect, now looking at it I think it sort of gives a post card effect. Lol, I hope you do realise the newspaper is a tad biased, but that's to go along with the storyline. Wow what a great comment, I feel flattered, lol

    Panthersimcity 4: Thanks

Spa: I especially paid close attention to detail seeing as how they are such an important part to the city, it's almost as if normal life revolved around them, I also wanted to creat an "outdoor" effect. I am of the opinion that industrial areas often do mix with other type of businesses in any world city today, like you say. Thanks for your great comment, I really appreciate it and please come back to see more.5.gif

    bat: Thanks you!

Jacquilina: lol, I think that's how my cj will be characterised, mosaics, mosaics and more moaics, I'm addicted to them because it's so fun making them. Glad to see you around again jacqui. Thanks for the comment1.gif

Andi: hey dude! Thanks, oh trust me I've seen your comments on Fox's cj, they're well.....very colourful, lol please come back3.gif

6U: lol, yes there's quite a lot of them. (I miss talking to ya on msn, lol I'll try yo be on more often) thanks for the comment.

    Flumes: Thank you!

    Patriotic Casanares

Casanares is a relatively small South American country of 18 million people most of whom live in urban areas. The country borders Argentina, its only neighbour and closest economic and political ally

Some other important government buildings: The tall white building is the Ministry of Defence, some floors were taken up by the Foreign Ministry, the smaller white building with columns is the Supreme Court of The Republic, it has the last say for most laws; its judges are appointed by the President and approved by the National Assembly. other government buildings are scattered all around la Quinta Tinta District which is the equivalent to Whitehall in London or the District of Columbia in Washington

The Socialist Party's HQ, The Peoples' Square is filled with...well people

The Socialist part is the main party within the Ruling Coalition, it has been in power for 46 years now and its popularity is still widespread.

    partido1copycopyij5.jpg

Partido Popular HQ (Popular Party) It is the main party of the Opposition and has only been in power once for 12 years at the beginning of the century; its political orientation is right wing

And last but not least, here's the Green Party's HQ, it has been in the Ruling Coalition for 20 years since its creation; its policies have transformed Casanares into one of the "greenest" societies in the world; its popularity is also widespread.

And now for the big bonus (well not big, it's just this size: 800x600x2, lol 3.gif)

I agree this CJ does deserve waaay more comments! But lack of comments doesn't mean you have to stop this CJ! The forums have been awfully quiet, but it'll be more active, don't worry!

I am completely speechless with every update! It has a strong, beatiful middle-wealth South American feel about everything. Wow. As I'm typing this I'm scanning the pictures and whew--it's all so stunning! The W2W buildings are the best and most vibrant I've ever seen and the port area is magnificent. I'd like to request where you got the ship from the 4th mosaic on update 4--it's near the bottom being constructed. But I'm not here to ask for building requests--I'm here to make an extra long comment!

I love the history of Caseneras--extremely realistic. And the Palacio Legislativo is simply massive! And the plaza behind has a commanding, governmental feel about it. It has an incredible political feel about it.

What a great use of the High Speed rail project and excellent how you incoropated this modern transit system in between the historical landmarks. It shows perfectly the contrast between old and new.

People's Square--is Casenaras a communist nation? Very interesting if so...I love the look and feel of the massive Socialist bldg.

I have to say this is my favorite pic of all! The avenue runs perfectly and it's massive. It's very cosmopolitan! Just like Buenos Aires, Casaneras retains that metropolitan flair of a South American, European inspire metropolis.

    laquintatintadaycopyqv7.jpg

I love that picture. This is one of the best CJ's out there.

    wow wow wow.

The history was amazing. Very long and well created. Fits in great with what was rly happening in that region during the different time peroids. The flag was great but the description was the best part.

The Update itself was my favorite part. The assembly buildings looks like a shooting range if its that long!!!! The rest of the city looks great. Very well lined up on that plaza. Great work overall!

Sorry that I did not notice you have started another CJ, but it was I very nice surprise to find this gem among CJ's.

I have not seen anything that I don't like, the layout of the city and the custom buildings and the presentation is all very tasteful.
