Manchester

Hello everyone, welcome to my first full CJ.  I am working on a new area called Manchester, MA.

Essentially, Manchester is a recreation of one of the greatest cities in the world: New York City.   However, it has a different name, different terrain, different districts, a different world, just everything different.

So I started out by working in the SC4 Terraformer.   I made some hills, rivers, and all the such I needed.  We'll start off with a pic of the region and its surrounding districts:

Legend:

Red lines=District Lines.

Blue Lines+ County Lines.

Sorry about the quality, I only have MS Paint.  But so, you got the map of the area and what the terrain is like.  I have terraformed a few harbours, so it will be easiier later on.

Well, that's all I got for now, I'm gonna be heading over to the Night Market in Richmond.  Expect the next upadte by next Friday or earlier.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.  I still have a little time to change the terrain, and also tomorrow.

Should be interesting. BTW, might I suggest gettng the GIMP? It's pretty much the best free image program out there (and far better than paint, I assure you.

Hello there. I have just joined this community. One of the reasons I have joined was to participate in the journells, which I think is awsome. This is the first that was listed in the list so I started here. Nice pic! You said that you used SC4 Tarraformer? What is that? Is it an update to the game or and addon? It looks neat.

Big_Gun: Welcome to Simtrop, bud!  The SC4 Terraformer allows you to terraform whole regions.  It can be found in the Modding Files Section.

Update 1: A Little Bit of Downtown

And here's the first update, the one you've been waiting for.

These pictures were taken during an intense thunderstorm around 9:00 to 11:45---so expect booms.  BOOM!!!

We start with a view of the Marriott Inn and the area:

Then we have a picture of some high wealth areas on HIckory Street:

And here's the next pic, of Lexington Avenue:

Then we got 14th Street and a building under construction:

They're not gonna construct anything in this rain.

And here's a view near the Sparrington Tower and N-101:

KA-BOOM!!!

Now the rain is getting stronger, the view is getting blurry:

And here's another view near Lexington Avenue:

KA-BOOM!!!

And for a final view, here's a Seaport along the Hudson River:

KA-BOOM!!!
