Hey guys........sorry for the slow down on Edmonton. I've gone on 2 holidays in the past few weeks. Back packing up Mt Robson and some time in Banff. But work and updates should be just around the corner.

Vigo : Someone could do the LRT, for that rail though I have used regular rail. In real life the LRT has its own rail with the CN rail besides it. Out of every single rail in the city these are the only 2 I combined. The main reason is the tight space along that area. Including Manning crossing, Coliseum, and Commonwealth stadium.

Pisces : The roads are not curved. If you look at the West Edmonton Mall picture you can see how I get slight bends or dramatic curves. Curved areas take alot of effort and at times are redone a few times.

Grandpaporridge : Anyone and everyone can have a blank copy of my map. I use MSN messanger to send it due to its size. Takes about 15min to transfer. newjersey73@hotmail.com sign me up on messanger. And if you start an accurate region like my self I can help you with it. Find you the right map, and show you the scales. Keep in touch.

Brett : Anyone who has stepped up and even began BAT projects for Edmonton has let me down. Thats why when the West Edmonton Mall BAt thread started I was a sceptict. To date....beyond a few posted pictures...nothing has been done.
And for the Telus building Jbbry decided to retire from ST right before it was done.....so another let down. Others have shown intrest but I cant be bothered anymore. One thing that gets to me most is people who have little meaning behind there word.

Stay tuned to the CJ. Updates are coming soon. 11.gif

Its been a nice month or so off. I did a few short hrs work on it today. I should have some close up images soon. Certain areas I'm fine tuning so they look more acurate and some park areas I will be working on aswell as the roads. But here are just a few small updates.

This is looking great, I can't wait to see it start getting zoned out.

I'd also love to know how you did that final region shot.  I've tried piecing a big one together for my region, but it's going to take hours in Photoshop.

    edit: Found Region Census, nm.

Beebs : Thats not a nitpick? With any small updates like that its a help. I'm a long ways from building that area right now but, when I do I'll probably leave in the road. It still exsist used or not. Thanks for the heads up. (I went mountain biking down in that area just last week. Being so far out of the way it was the first time I had seen some areas of Terwilligar. I couldn't believe some of the houses and nieghborhoods down in that area).

Heh, yea, they can get pretty big down here. 2.gif If you want to see even bigger, check out Summerside, by Ellerslie Road and Calgary Trail and Cameron Heights, in the west end. Those babies are mansions!

And as for the road, I suppose you could just leave it, but parts of it are actually gone to let Anthony Henday go through there, which is why they closed the road forever, now. Also, your terwillegar drive, south of 23rd ave is gonna get screwed up soon, due to them expanding it to a 4 lane(2 on either side), for anthony henday, and it will go into where I live a little bit.

    2 more little things:

    1. Don't forget the huge powerlines running through near there.

    2. When you start working on Terwillegar Gardens & Terwillegar town, you'll have to make a pit in spot, and 2 ponds (you could use one of the lake maker things on the LEX). Most of the new areas around here have fair sized ponds with a park going around them and stuff, so you can't forget them! 19.gif

Eppisgood : 104F eh...lol....Thats too hot. It can get that high here but rarely happens. 95F somedays during the summer. Just this summer has ended horribly. Usualy October is  when it gets cold. And not until the end of November is it cold enough to keep out door hockey rinks.
Speaking of warm weather. Next week I'm flying to Vegas which should be 100F 38C all week. I'm scrambling to buy new cooler clothes. Also a stop over in Phoenix should be interesting on the way there. Growing up I spent my summers in the Okanogan (BC) and its often 35-40C there. Wake up at 25C. But with Edmonton like this, this week....I'm glad to go.11.gif

I believe the minus 50 celsius part, but the plus 50 in the summer is complete bs! The record for heat in sask is not even above plus forty!

Good job Jersey Devil, And You left my region for last, it is suspensful
