Any chance of talking to toroca about getting the Train Pack updated? I'm thinking of going back through all your trains and organizing what I want in correct subfolders. I'd like the recent fictionals, brand names, and SimTrop cars all in one nice pack so I don't miss any. Also, the link on the mods page points to a different thread than this one now.

I haven't gotten to the Sounder yet. Maybe BigRedFish could give it a try before I get around to it.

I downloaded your BN cars and didn't say anything. I think it's great how we now have 3 train modders. You all do excellent work.

That wave on the sides of the cars will take a little time, if you've got a good clean photo of just the sides, taken straight-on, that would help.  Otherwise I'll fake it as best I can.  As soon as I saw those I knew I was going to have to try...

The locomotive might be more of a problem, all of the Acela-type engines do very strange stretching-things on their noses, to the point that a single pixel covers almost half the nose-cone.  So the engine scheme may not be perfect. 

I am just now starting to learn gmax, so I can make the Bombardier cars.  If I get that right, I'll make a GO Transit and Caltrain Baby Bullet set with them, and then try to the blue wave colors if I feel confident.

Can anyone from San Diego or Orange County tell me if the Coaster uses these trains now?

PS: BN/Metra Chicagoland service, Phase I,  will arrive within the hour!

I just made a BN passenger set, more or less from memory of riding the Aurora/Chicago line in the late '70s.  It's in my thread, Custom Content Forums/Modding -Open Discussion/New Passenger Railroads Arrive:

That leaves the steam engine replacement to go.  I re-skinned one of the Trolca GP7/9s I made in BN colors, using Dearnen's skin as a starting point.  It's his GP model too credit where it's due.  I really should chat with him about making steam-engine replacement versions of his locomotives.  I already have the templates made and can just crank them out now.

So with a big nod in Dearnen's direction, BN steam-engine replacement for Rush Hour is attached.
