what is the biggest population you have ever gotten on a medium tile? repost with some anserws and or pictures

I don't have any pictures but I got up to about 350,000 sims once, and only once.  I don't know how good that really is but its my best so far!

I hit one million once, but it was really tight and mostly residential. I have a medium tile city with a small river and a pretty good mix of res, comm and ind and the population is around 700k. It's been swinging from 620k to 760k for the last several hundred game years. Think I cracked the 500k mark after about 300 game years, but it's been so long, I'm not really sure on that. I'd post a pic if I could ever figure out how to get one up here.

I have a couple of my region medium sized cities at about 250-275K would be more if I didnt put industrial zoning. Couple of my large cities are between 400-760K. Using the Fairview region that came with the game I managed to achieve a region population of 3.2million+ and not all of the maps are filled up. I know that part is out of scope, but I was proud of my accomplishments.

I`ve once achieved near 700K in one city. I don`t have the picture and the city itself  now.  It was a  slum city without any high wealth buildings.

85,554.  It is a member of my Muddle Earth region containing my largest city.  The Region pop is around 2 million.

my highest pop on a med tile was 8.219 Million.

I was so happy, i pretty much, made a grid, put everything it needs, put a block over the enter key and went to bed. when i woke up i had 8 million.

I don't think you can get 8 million in a medium city without using custom BATs or some other kind of mod or cheat.

There was a thread over in game experiments a couple of months ago about getting the maximum pop (without mods or BATs). It was a good start, but unfortunately the experiment was never completely finished. I think the author determined the practical max for a small city was about 1 million. That would put a medium city max pop at about 4 million.

my largest was about 275,000. Then again, it was divided by 2 highways (east/west, north and south), a cloverleaf, the CBD and the sports/rec center i made (stadiums, aquarium, marinas)

If the medium tile is the one I think it is, my largest is 244k. It occasionally swings up to 248k, but 244 seems to be its support level. This is with 108k commercial, about 5k hi-tech industry, trains, and a large complex housing all my rewards (University, both stadiums, disease research, etc.), as well as having all my power plants and waste disposal units within the city.

I managed to get a medium city up to 650,000, half residential and half commercial. Three others have managed to stay above the half million mark. All four of these medium cities in the same region, whose total pop to date is just over 8 million. Still have about 40% of the region to finish yet.

This is a city that fluctuates between 660k and 750k. Right now it's around 700k. There is a bit of dilapidation so the buildings occupy more than when built. City is pretty well balanced with R,C & I.

i had 250k in a small tile once but i can only manage 365k in a medium andd 500k in a large

you deserve a pat on the back for that lol. you should be proud. maybe you should just add some landmarks or something in any open space to add that effect to the city that will boost population still and give it that bit of zazz.

Wow to DOXX, Blade, Ill Tonkso, Toiletdudeman, and Twiggy. I'm not the best at building cities to be honest. My current best is 67,000 on a medium tile, but it looks good! In fact it will be in my next Madoha update. Wow, I should update that more often...
