You have really put a lot of thought into your transit system. You have intersections and overpasses that I've never seen. Are they a Mod.? or really creative elevations? or super powers? Great work! I still drool over that statue!!!!!

Wow, 1.5 minute commute times? Thats INSANE! Even in Astoria, with all its avenues, the average commute time is 25-30 minutes!

I would really hate to be against your country in Olympic running! 3.gif

Wow! You are a genius! How you can get that so low is beyond me, they should hire you as a real life city planner! You could solve the worlds traffic problems! That just amazing mate.

Oh, and your updates are just beautiful, I'm so glad to see you back in the CJing business, and you are just as good as you always have been! You are constantly a source of inspiration mate.

Keep it up! Choco.

I've been reading this cj for the past three days, and I am in awe at the realism and detail put into the development of this region, and am especially thankful for the one-update-per-page layout (easier on us modem users).

Good to see this cj back up from page 4

Wow, TMS...this CJ is AWESOME!  I've just discovered it recently and have spent the past 2 weeks or so getting caught up, starting from the very beginning.  I don't know how you keep making such a great CJ, considering this is your third go-around.  Where can I start?  The choice of buildings is great; the park system and waterfront design is beautiful; the attention to detail is amazing; and the transportation system is simply outstanding!  I am impressed by your foresight on setting up the transportation grid the way you have.  It really seems to have paid off, as you get some sweet stats at your stations!

One of the things I really enjoy while looking at pictures of Duchati is the downtown area.  It is extremely realistic to me, that you have a central downtown business district with beautiful skyscrapers, and then just outside the transportation loop, the building size drops dramatically.  It realy strikes me as something you see in many major cities across the US, which adds to the enjoyment of reading your CJ.  I also like how the highway runs beside the sports arenas.  Being from Houston, our downtown baseball park and basketball area are about 2 to 3 blocks from a US highway, so it seems completely natural to me. 4.gif

I also really like your rail system.  The tutorial on creating light rail in the middle of an avenue was very nice, and the fact that it is used by the populace so much is a testament to your design skills.  It is also great how you have created the transportation maps (just like what you would get from any major city's public transportaton system), because it helps us to see exactly where your rail grid goes, since we can't always see the rail system in the regular screen shots (no fault of yours, just the way it is).

The descriptions you provide make it feel like a real city, and I really love how you always explain your projects, and then give us before, during, and after screenshots so we can see exactly what happened to the area.  To me, that really makes it feel like a real city, since we are told 1) the problem; 2) the solution; and 3) how we are going to get there.

Wow!  This really is an outstanding CJ!  The only thing now is that since I'm officially caught up with the latest updates, I don't know if I can wait too long for a new one!  Keep it up, TMS - this is a truly awesome CJ, and your design skills are excellent!  I can't wait for more!  44.gif  3.gif  3.gif  4.gif   19.gif
