    **IMPORTANT**

Ok, now as you all know my computer had 256mb of RAM and I play on only medium tiles because my computer couldnt run large cities. Even on the tile that has Downtown Duchati on it was starting to run at a snails pace. Well thats over now because I have finally upgraded my computer to 512mb of RAM and its so amazing at the difference.

If youve seen my past work, New Marion River Vally and Independence City you know that the main cities were on large tiles and thats why those CJ's failed for me because the game got to frustrating. I went and played them yesterday at the highest settings and there wasnt really a slowdown in sight. For Independence City the save times were 15-25minutes now its 30seconds to a minute.

Now how this effects this CJ is this:

All of what ive shown in this CJ is on 12 different Medium tiles. As you all know thats 4 Large tiles... What I was thinking was redoing all of Wood County in Large Tiles with a map off of STME. I would do it with the region i have now and change the config.bmp but i did a custom terraforming job. One good thing is that I got lazy and terraformed the tiles that I needed.

Now before you guys get in an uproar, the stories will continue like nothing has happened in the cities. One reason I can do this is because weve only been introduced to one character and no pictures where there.

Now that ive explained everything [i think] what do you think i should do??

[edit] i knew i forgot something... since i got all the BSC packs and stuff because of my new high speed internet ive had a chance to get all of SG's and Kevdan's lots which can help me sculpt the suburbs to look even more like...suburbs!

    A. Continue with mediums and finish the way it is.
    or
    B. Make Large Tiles and make the city better than before.

I would go for A, since it is too nice to start again, even if you can make it better, which would be very very very hard.

wow alot of people are choosing A...

well i just want the input of my fans because i think i can do better myself now with all this stuff and the upgrade but if you guys want it to be the same it can!

but ill wait alittle longer before my desicion because if i redo it its alot of work but if i keep it the same its just as much work...

First of all: Why didn't I looked in here before??? Missed a lot sınce I really enjoy your CJ!

About your question: I have 512mb, looking forward to have 1,5 gig somewhere in near future, a rural regıon as you can see ın my CJ and I have the normal problems of noy having enough RAM ... 23.gif7.gif

Stay on medium tiles and enjoy the increase of speed due to the memory enhancement!

I'm going to say go with A as well. The memory will really boost your enjoyment, and playing on large tiles might take that away...go with A.

well... i was... just gonna redo the tiles with Downtown, City Hall Park, Cedar City/Pinewood, South Duchati/Dirktator Park but ok.... i guess we will stay with the way it is... i will add a few large tiles to the config then just so i can take up some of the space 3.gif

@ kingofsimcity actually ive ran my biggest city ever [independence City] that was on a large tile with all the settings on high and it ran like a beauty... so i guess my computer has no issues with it...

Hi TMS, I'm sorry about not being here earlier...I just didn't have much time to play SC4 and visit Simtropolis. But anyways, I love the character introduction! It's pretty funny, and it was kind of random that Charley just started to blast heavy metal music from the hummer like that...18.gif I look forward to more character introductions! On to City Hall Park...it's been a very long time since we've seen any developments here. Everything looks great though, and I guess your sims are grateful for the new intersections, even if it meant destroying some historic buildings, lol...And about this new part of town, I can't wait to see it! I'm sure it will be great 44.gif By the way, congratulations on getting an upgrade for your computer! It's good to hear that you're still going to continue with Wood County as it is now, with mostly medium tiles. You've worked hard at it to make it pretty, so I'd much rather you keep going instead of rebuilding everything again. Alright then, I'll be waiting patiently for your next update, so keep on bringing us your great stories and city developments! 35.gif
