    Thank you for all your great comments!!

    Today I uploaded a remake of my first ever station. I re-textured it long time ago but I forgot to release it =P I hope you like the new look with shiny steel ^_^

    The progress on the new station has been slow. Here is a render with more work on the roof and a modification to the platform similar to what Andreas suggested.

    I decided not to round the platform because I think that it looks better squareish. I tried to give it a look similar to the HSR tracks. The platform end doesn't have a texture because I extended the platform to do the in-game test.

    I don't think my station blends well with the look of the HSR tracks x.x and on top of that I have this problem too:

    The HSR tracks are wider than I though =O I'm going to have to work more on the platform's design x.x

    Today's update:

    I'm still not happy with the transition from the HSR tracks to my new station. I don't know if I should try to use the HSR textures instead.

    As you can see I played a little bit with the platform's shape and changed some textures and colors. The roof still needs work and I need to add more details to the station as well.

    What transition are you talking about? The HSR tracks itself look pretty good, the only thing that looks odd is that the shadow is cut off at the right side because shadows can't be casted on network props (I think). However, this might get better once the roof gets proper transparency (I'm not entirely sure about this, though). One thing that is missing is the catenaries. From what I can see, the HSR models have "built-in" catenaries including wires, but you haven't added them to your station so far, this is probably another reason why it still looks odd. And finally, if you'd make the platform texture more blue-ish instead of that beige tone, it might fit into the current HSR models better.

    It saddens me to see how much unfinished business has been left here 8.gif Is Brenda_Xne ever coming back? Or will anyone else finish her great work?

    Today to my surprise I got an email that somebody posted a comment on my profile here in Simtropolis. It's been so long since I last came here that I didn't know we had profiles like these. The new site looks really good and it is amazing to see the SC4 community still strong. I feel bad that after all these years people still want the finished station... I would have liked to finish it but the file was lost on a hard drive crash with most of my other personal files :( I'm really sorry but I don't think I can finish the station.

    I miss playing SC and I hope to one day have the time to BAT again.

    Man, that sucks. Well, the buses are great, and maybe you could modify them to get something close to the school bus you were working on. It looked great.

    I know that Brenda probably isn't here any more, I was wondering if anyone else had problems with her mods.

    2 of her mods, the Modern Subway v.2 and the MEBSP Station, give me a glitch when I plant them of maxing out their capacity at 8 and 1 respectively.

    The other mods don't seem to be affected.

    I'm running NAM, could the multipliers be affecting the mods somehow?
