After taking some time fixing up RL stuff I decided to play SC4 again. I had to download all the mods and BATs again to make sure I have the current versions but I found out that I never kept a copy of my GRL station  .I wasn't happy with the rendering because when the trains went inside the station were getting cut off by the LODs. So I went back to GMAX, fixed up the LODs and rendered it again  and it actually came out the way I wanted . I asked Andreas if he could help me modding the station and he did it  and now is finally in the STEX  

A year ago I promised to make an El-Train Station so I started to work on it. This is what I have so far, no textures or anything just the basic shape.

I played a little bit more with the model and I added some textures. I decided to get rid of the base cuz I didn't like it so I'll think of something else to use as an entrance

hmm how about  the base being just as big as the station and with transparent glass ?so you can show the interior details like tables,benches,etc etc?

A promising start; it's great to see the set being completed piece by piece. The GLR station became everyone's favorite instantly, and I guess the same counts for this station as well.

The EL-station is look really promising.

What about the subway station (v2 I think you called them), are you still have plans for them or has those gone the draws for unfinish project ? (I sure hope not)

I notice there is only one station compatible with the NAM el-train over road. I would also like to make a station for that MOD, what do you guys think about that?

I will put some stairs so our sims can take the trains and get on time to work

I also think 3x1 is not so good, sometimes when you have a large city only half of the train is in the station, so maybe I'll do a 4x1 version too.

I tested the station in game and I didn't like the design too much, so I decided to change the roof. Probably the final design will be something like this:

Yesterday while rendering I remembered how much I hate LODs. It gets hard when you want those trains to be visible in the middle of the staton x.x so in the end I think I'm going to render the station in parts ad put it together in LE.

Don't worry BlackBeard this station will be available with the NAM over road, and without it. It will also come with bus and subway. I cannot say that the NAM version of the station will have bus or subway because I don't know if that is posible. I don't even know who can mod the station yet but first things first - finish the model and then I hope someone can help me mod the station to make it compatible with NAM.

Like I said before I want to release another set of bus/subway. I'm thinking of making it in such a way that I can put this station in some parks that use SimGoober Park Trails. I really love his parks trails and I would like a station I can plop in a park

I wish I had better textures
