Yet another great update from our firend Jacky. The style of the castle and surrounding parks reminds me a lot of medieval settings in another great game Age of Empires.

Hi, Jacky, I like the castle; it's a fitting addition.  I might agree with Schulmanator in adding a bit more randomness and variety by some offset or assymetrical placement.  Your call as you work on the details.  I have been doing some terraforming on a large city tile, and my observation of your landscape has made my results much more to my liking.  I appreciate the incredibly time consuming efforts of your endeavor, and have been glad of some relaxation to work on mine.

Do you remember the details of what happened when you tried to DL or use the Lot Editor?  I, too, had trouble at first and didn't think it worked.  I found the solution, so if your experience was the same, maybe I can help you?

I guess I will apply for the position as a tour guide at the castle, that is, if the Handsome Prince will be in residence?

what happened when i installed the lot editor,it made my game unusable i had to reinstall everything again so i dont risk it anymore its such a long job installing everything.but thankyou anyway.

Happy New Year, and once again great work. I believe it was dedgren that coined the term "superdetailing" or at least popularized it but, without  deriding his in any way (it is quite good in and of itself), you have shown what it truly means and what it can do. Simply put: exceptional work and a beauty to look at. From a practical perspective too, it looks very defendable and the inner courtyard looks great and the floral welcome sign just past the bridge is a nice touch. A great start for the new year.

Ahhhh.... I am loving this! The added features give some variety and make it seem more old-worldly. May I suggest the chapel somewhere as a final addition?

I always enjoy your updates- they are as soothing as a warm spring day!

Hi, Jacky, how are you?

The castle is looking better and better.  Great use of different elements with it--I think I see D66's plaza, some BSC walls, fountains and paths, jeronij's park fillers, oh, and I just noticed it has a moat!  And of course, the sign, wow, it sure was a lot of work helping the gardener plant all those flowers, but it was worth it.  I am impressed to be working at such a classy place.

Oh, that's too bad about the Lot Editor.  If the game is stable now that you have uninstalled it, that's sure to be the cause.  I have had crashes from time to time, but not a lot.  I think the first time I loaded the game after using the LE it crashed fairly soon, but hasn't since, so who knows if it was related to that.  I might upload my fence lots if I get them so that they have a transparent texture, and can figure out the dependencies, etc.  I will have to study up on it.

Can't someone make some? Theyll look great in front of Jacky's Castle

The parking reminds me of parkings with picnic places next to highways in France and Spain, and that lighthouse looks amazing (I think I'm also gonna download some, the ingame one looks a little boring)

Jacky, I'm going to try to make it a point to visit here at least after every two updates because I feel kind of bad for neglecting to post here for a long time. Anyway, this is the first time I've seen asphalt roads in your CJ, and it makes me wonder if you're very slowly progressing toward more civilization.  Also, that lighthouse is very lovely with its form and with the sea floor flora surrounding it. Very nice job! I look forward to more!
