First of all, i must congratulate you all for making such wonderfull maps.

As you can see, i'm still creating the region, but i'm already proud of what i got. It's a massive 41x41 small towns map and it must become a recreation (but not quite on scale though) of the Netherlands.

Please do tell me what you think about it.

Here's a region I've been working on for the past couple of months. No metropolis yet, just farming towns/cities at the moment. Regional population is hovering just under 89,000.

I noticed that I took a much different approach to those who have a single main CBD.

Here's the latest region I'm working on. I haven't built anything on it yet, so the region is purely terrain. I'm debating whether to make a nice natural looking city on most of it, or if I should develop the region as farmland and the occasional small town instead. Thoughts?

Holy crap, Ion Cannon, what's the population? So cool!

I'm working on one right now, but I've been spending so much time trying to learn to BAT that I haven't done much with my region. It's full of holes right now, but maybe someday I can finish it and make one last CJ.

Still in the grid phase, haven't really moved out to suburbs much yet. I need to build up the medium-density layer in my main downtown as well.

Some lovely regions guys. As for the population of mine it maxed at 25.2 million. Currently it's at 23.85 as I'm thinning out some of the cities which are further out so they blend more, like the western side of my region does.

Here's an updated look at my latest region which sits just under 130,000 in population. It's still only farming towns/cities with a lot more tree planting to go yet.

mattc005, I really like your road layout.  Hope to see close ups in a CJ if you havent already made one.

Here is my newest city of Athenee.  It's a medium sized city, so not as exciting as most on this thread.

You know, all the mayor names in that region that the person's name in "Need For Speed​​ : Carbon".

24x24 Large Cities

about 6 times bigger than Timbuktu Region in Simcity4

and i think i bit bigger than Omega Region

Current Population: about 5 000 000 people

Population Goal: 100 000 000 people

Of course not the best region ever, since is in construction i think i am about 15% done

but when is done it would be an amazing region

Here is a very small portion of my very big region dubbed "Great Plains".

Total region population of a little over 1.1 million. The Barkley-Morefield Metropolitan Area is one of the biggest in the region.
