One month ago, I have started the Apollinaire tower ( Apollinaire is a french poet of the late XIXth century ). It is the first tower of a group or five R$$ towers, they have the name of a french poet of the XIXth-XXth century.

here is the last screens of the Apollinaire tower :

I have some things to arrange and it will be very soon in the STEX

I have build another tower, some days ago, the Baudelaire tower :

I will put amenagements on the highest roof like planters with bushes, tables and chairs, etc... and I will put the nightlights

Comments appreciated.

    Thank you very much !

Yoder7652 : I will not put exhaust fans or HVAC, it will decrease the beauty of my towers.

EDIT: I have added yellow flowers on the planters in the terrace of the Apollinaire tower and I have put a granite texture on the borders of the planters:

What do you think about that ?

One the Baudelaire Tower. It's your call but I have to agree with yoder. I think the roof really does need something on it. It's too clean. A bulding like this would have something up there. Very few roofs are entirely blank. Second, I think you should consider making a one storey base that is slightly larger than the building. Without one, it appears to just grow right out of the ground. It doesn't look natural. Beside that looks promising.

I haven't put the amenagement on the roof yet. The idea of the base may be interesting. I hesite a little... I will use a poll in this topic to decide if I will put a base...

Hey, this one has improved a lot! I remember seeing it for the first time, and tbh, I didn't like it very much. Now, with that base and the new textures, it looks very promising. The only thing I'm not so crazy about is the roof with all those umbrellas... at such a height, they'd go flying all the time, lol. 3.gif

Can't wait to see some in-game pictures...

Looks nice indeed. 4.gif The window textures aren't final, though, or are they? On the main tower, that monotonous grey window colour looks a bit dull, and those windows in the base weren't even recognizable as windows in the day view... only the night view reveals that the white parts light up at night. I dunno, those angled edges of the base look a bit odd anyway, and you could make the ground floor a bit taller than the upper floors. Most skyscrapers have that. 2.gif

HamsterTK and T Wrecks : Thanks!

For the glass, I don't know how to do a less dull texture... If someone know good parameters to have a nice window aspect, it could be very helpful.

Maybe I will change radically the form of the base for a more modern look, that's right that the base looks odd... It was not a very good idea.

Jacqulina and Aleking : Thank you.

Hello everybody, I have abandoned the BAT for a long time, but i have decided to re-work in to do a new tower, the Berlioz tower :

    tb3cf5.jpg

    tb4we8.jpg

    tb5of1.jpg

The structure at the top of the tower is a windmil with the Darrieus system. I have already seen this sort of windmill at the top of a building so I have put one on this tower. I can remove it and the solar panels if you don't like it...
