The update itself is great, but the poem makes it better tenfold. And the lots are...well...INDESRIBABLE! Great!

You seriously keep surprising me every time I pop in here ... what a great community feeling you have to your CJ. I love the custom lots still.. and I must say, grewat use once again of the props and base textures.

That huge railline mosaic a few pages back is awesome.. I love it.

I'm going to have to drop by more often I think ... I'm missing too much.

I appreciate your response to my previous question... still I would like to see your lots uploaded to the Stex one day.

BTW- The Kingdom of New Burgundy would like to provide the VII Empire with t 1,000,000,000( Equal to 1,830,000,000 USD) with colonizing Mystic County. The main reason for this is to show that monarchy is still alive and for the benfit of the people of Mystic County. Use it well!

    Personal Replies

I just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone for your comments and feed back! Everyone’s kind words are so very much appreciated.

    Some personal replies:

Rayden: Thank you so much for your comment my friend – although you need not bow! Haha. I am really glad you liked the update.

luker91: Thanks for stopping by again, I am so glad you liked the update and poem. Still lots of rural development to come!

collgab: lol, well if you are in luck, then I will have my first STEX upload today! Just a few fences and trees. I hope the wait was worth it. Thanks for commenting!

Sim_Air: hey my friend, thanks for commenting, I am so glad you liked it! Stop by again soon!

ThePeoplesPerson: Thank you for the very kind words. I have spent a LOT of time trying to get all the lots to look just right to create the right feel to the community so I am very glad you like what I have done. I did arrange all those lots in the LE. The mansions took a lot of patience but actually the R$ lots like the ones in the third pic took the most time. I think I arranged over 45 lots now just in R$. I figured they all had to fit together if it was going to look right so I basically replaced every single R$ lot and then added a few more. Thanks as always for commenting!

officer: thank you so much for your comment. I was definitely aiming for picturesque. That poem has always been a favorite of mine and I wanted to capture the feel and mood of it with the screenshots. I hope you visit again soon!

Tracker: Thank you very much for your generous comment. I definitely enjoyed making this update more than any other so I really appreciate the feedback.

cityhawk: I am glad you like the update, my friend. Don’t worry about the poem, I know that they can be rather inscrutable at times. I am glad you like everything else as I did spend a lot of time in LE. The stone walls I created in the LE as well just using the various rock props. I will add them to STEX one day soon.

Darmok: I must say that is one of the nicest comments I have ever received. I am glad someone felt the way I did about this one. I have been planning on doing this with that poem for many weeks now I was just waiting for the right moment. I have a few others I am going to use but they will have to wait for another interlude. I have to get back to the story soon. You may of course save the page. I would be honored my friend. Until next time!

sorchin: Hey thanks for commenting. I am not sure which houses you are talking about. I believe they are all touching the road. If it seems that they are not it is probably just the way I cropped the photos. Stop by again soon!

Yoman3: Thanks for the comment! I am glad you liked the update and the poem. I thought they worked well together.

aleking: thanks for your kind words! I am really glad you liked the update. I did spend a lot of time customizing all those lots with the mansions and houses and fences so I am glad you like them. Hope to see you here again!

Simfan34: Thank you so much for comment I really appreciate it. I did think the poem added a lot to the update so I am glad you liked it.

hamsterTK: Thanks for you very nice comment. I did try to arrange everything as realistically as possible. Stop by again soon!

jacqulina: Thanks as always for your kind words. It is always nice to see you in Mystic County! The stone walls I created using LE – no photoshopping there. I will release them on STEX at some point in the near future. Thanks again!

Fallon144: Welcome to Mystic County! I am so glad you like it. Thanks for commenting.

Fox: Thank you very much for your beautiful comment. I am really glad you like the lots, both the houses and everything else. I am also glad you liked the mosaics as I had not done them before and spent a lot of time trying to get them to come out right. As for the lots, I am going to start uploading some packs to STEX really soon. I hope they have what you want! If not, just let me know. I will release some more as I have the time.

gurrgkud: Nice to see you again in Mystic County! I am glad you like the rural development. I really enjoy putting it all together. More is on its way soon!

Simfan34: lol The Chancellor has received your gift and will consider it in due course.

GaBoR: Thanks for commenting! I am so glad you like it. Stop by again soon.

Micah: Thanks for your kind words. I am so glad you like my CJ. I hope to see you here again!

Ok, all for now. I am going to post some pics here soon of my first STEX upload which will appear shortly thereafter. Thanks everyone!

    And now for some self-promotion.

I have made my first attempt to upload some lots to STEX. They all appear in one file called Kant01's Rural Development Kit 1 (RDK1). These lots will appear in your Health Menu. If you are like me my parks menu is already full.

So many of you readers have requested these lots so I put this pack together and am working on some more. I am going to give you some pics here even though this is not really the place so I ask the moderators to forgive me.

If you like them, feel free to leave me a comment here!

And some of the lots in use:

There are lots more pics of these already in use throughout this CJ, particularly on the first few pages.

Thanks everyone for your feedback and encouragement to upload these. I hope to add some more soon.

Your skills in making lots really, really impress me. With such great abitilities you can easily put amazing level of detailing into your CJ, and well - that's exactly what you're doing... If there was a trixie category of level of detailing I'm sure your CJ would win it easily 1.gif

I'll definitely try the Rural Development Kit!

I am usually not a big fan of the story CJ's...all that reading an words and stuff 2.gif

But you have developed a great storyline...without going overboard. The custom LE lots you have created to convay the story make this journal very creative.

Keep up the great work, I am very interested in seeing what developes next in the story.

Thanks again everyone for all your feedback and kind words! I will be resuming Book II of the story in the next day or two so stay tuned. I will also upload another set of lots in the next couple of weeks as time allows.

    Personal Replies:

Battlecat: Glad you liked the lots and I am really glad you enjoyed the interlude. I did have a lot of fun making that and tried to show just how beautiful farming and rural development could be in SC4. Stop by again soon my friend!

Passsmeabuurr: Greetings from Mystic County! I am glad you are enjoying my CJ and the story. That always makes me really happy to hear. As for the ploppable rocks, they are part of goldiva’s Mayor Mode Tropical Sea Set. This set allows you to plop not only the rocks but also boats, reefs, and some various tropical trees.

Szarkoz: Thank you so much for your very generous comment. I do spend a lot of time making little details. I love the fact that SC4 lets you have that level of control and I really hope that Maxis is paying attention in the event that they are developing SC5!  I hope you enjoy the RDK lots. Let me know how they work out!

KT3: Yes, yes, you ordered me and I obeyed! lol  Thank you again for your help – it was invaluable! I can’t wait to see them in your CJ!

Tommy_Vercetti3: Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I am looking forward to seeing them in use!

Cjah: Hey, nice to see you back in Mystic County! Thanks for commenting and thanks for the congratulations. I really like they way the fences with the hay turned out as well. Stop by again soon!

seemurray2: Greetings from Mystic County! Thanks so much for your kind words! I am really happy to hear that you like my rural lots and also very pleased that you like the mosaics. I was a bit nervous about making them as I really wasn’t sure how to go about it. I will have some more very soon!

cityhawk: So happy you like them! Let me know if you use them, I would like to see how they turn out!

gurrgkud: No problem! Thanks for stopping by and commenting! I also have to thank you for including a link to Mystic County in your signature. I am very humbled. See you again soon!

bourneid: Greetings from Mystic County! I am so very pleased to hear that you like the story. It is always nice to find out that people are reading. I know it takes a lot of time and that not everyone will read, which is fine. That is why I try to provide both the story and nice pictures to look at; something for everyone. I am also happy to hear that you like the lots I arranged. I have a lot of fun making them so that they fit in with the story. Do stay tuned, the next part of the story will come very soon!

jacqulina: thanks for commenting! I will continue the updates soon I promise and will also have more lots for STEX in the next couple of weeks. I’ll keep you posted!

Rayden: So happy you like the RDK lots. I can’t wait to see them in use in your CJ! Thanks for commenting!

Fabiocb: thanks for the kind words. I look forward to seeing them in your CJ! Just a note: I actually didn’t do any of the modeling. Those fences/trees are all from cycledogg’s wonderful creations. He is really a genius and an artist.

Passmeabuurr: Thanks for commenting again! Very kind of you to say. I am really glad you like my rural development. I hope to have some more updates posted very soon!

Yoman3: Great! Glad to hear they work!

manmann99: Greetings from Mystic County! So glad you like my CJ! Thanks for the kind words and hope to see you here again soon!

    Thanks again everyone!
