First of all, congratulations on your Trixie Award, it's really well deserved.

Excuse my recent lack of visits, RL has been incredibly busy recently. Malheureusement j'ai pas réussi à mes examens. Mais j'ai retrouvé la motivation... c'est important pour réussir la prochaine fois . I'm very confident as far as this is concerned.

Unfortunately I've missed a lot of your latest updates. I very much like your pictures of Downtown Omaha, especially JB's smalltown buildings are a very nice touch. Great combination with the office buildings.

Oh! WOWOWW!! I love those pics, but the thing that really amazed me was the river and the industry. I love this cj. You know that it is the best re-creation to me.

I love this city journal, and please, don't abandon it. I'm sometimes bored of Lloyd too. Well, but my region is only 22 big maps. C'mon, David, I give you my motivation to continue till you finish this city, the best re-creation!!

To asturianu: Yep, I'm just unmotived (it is right in english??) for the moment...but I'll finish Omaha!!! ;-) I've just the core of Bellevue to build and some farmlands in the opposite banks of the Missouri (Iowa)... but, I tried some tips for my future recreation (see under) ;-p

I'm brainstorming these time on what I can recreat for my next region... not easy. I would like something small but attractive in some point of view (downtown, industry, etc.) and the most orthogonaly region (better for the game realism).

Here is some suggestion, for the moment, my favorite region I'll recreat is Mobile, AL, but...

1- Mobile, AL : Nice project, but the street layout is not orthogonal (very complicated, I must to simplify the road network) Some interesting thinks to do: Harbor, Chemical plants, but not a very attractive downtown...Maybe the Mardis Gras celebrated in this city is older than the New Orleans Mardi Gras...Something interesting to do here.

2- Lincol, NE : Orthogonal grid and small region, wonderful but not very interesting I thing. It looks like a suburb with an universitiy... maybe the city is so charming too...

3- Tulsa, OK : Nice metro to build but...large, very large...probably a 9x11 region, like Omaha, NE.

I'll think about this city later...

4- Des Moines, IA : Interesting city, not too big, not to small...State capitol, downtown and the suburbs...The interstate layout is very easy to do.
