The LEX is the exchange at SC4Devotion. It is set up a little differently than the STEX. If you decide to register at the main site, you'll still need to register on the LEX (they're two separate registrations). That's probably why you didn't see any download links when you followed the links. To see them, you would have needed to be registered and logged on.

So, seeing as there are some GLR experts here anyone know how to get a GLR line under a HSR line? So far the only things I can think of is converting it to elevated rail and going over a GHSR line or getting the GRL to Subway tunnel and going under an GHSR line on an embankment.

While both of those will work, I really want something a little less jury rigged if possible. I have gone through all the new NAM puzzle pieces but it seem those for HSR are missing, and the HSR pieces themselves don't include any for GLR. I find this odd, is there some technical problem that keeps these from functioning together?

hey Guys: quick question about the BSC SFBT GLR Tram Mod.

If I install that does that mean I can't use any other custom GLR cars besides the colored ones included? I use all the colored stations as well as some of the other custom stations listed here, however it always defaults to the BSC SFBT GLR Tram cars. Is this unusual or should I unstall the mod?

slvrlakesmoke...

If you look at the files in the Tram Mod folder, you'll find one with '_no_el-train_automata' in the name. That file prohibits the default Maxis tram cars from appearing in the game. If you remove that, the Maxis tram cars will return to the game, or anything that replaces them.

As stated in the readme file, the BSC SFBT GLR Tram mod includes a file that hides the default el-rail/tram automata, so only the colored trams show up (which might look a bit odd). If you delete this particular file, you'll see your regular trams again - and in case you don't want to see the colored tram automata that comes with this mod, you can safely delete the separate DATs that contain the automata. The included stations work like any other tram station, though, so you're free to mix them with any other station.

everything is set on the highest level . The strange thing is that even nam statistics doesn't show any traffic apart of buses and cars .

That would mean that your sims actually don't use the trams at all, although I can't tell why. The stations (if we're talking stations for GLR-on-Avenue/Road) will show usage even then, because pedestrian and road traffic still passes through them.

Just curious... Could you let us know which you were trying to use before. Might be helpful to know...

Hi,

I have a problem with my GLR stations. When the automatas are about to run through the stations they suddenly desappear, specially through stations on GLR-Avenue, GLR-Roundabout and generaly on tracks made of puzzle pieces. I have the latest version of the NAN (with NAM Update and NAM Essentials instaled to) and my stations are "SFBT Tram Mod", "SFBT Tram in Road Tram Stop" and "SFBT Dentei Tram Stations" (SFTB Essentials instaled to). I already read all the ReadMe files (many times), I followed step by step the instructions to activate each kind of station, but the problem still exists. Can anybody help me please?

Thanks in advance.

SP_Rock_City...

Are you sure you have dragged the appropriate network through each station (elrail, one-way,etc.) to 'activate' the paths? (Saving and exiting, then re-entering the city will produce the same result.) Are you able to use the Drawpath cheat to check if the pathing arrows are going through? If you use the Query and/or Route Query tools, are the stations being used?

Thanks for your assistance CaptCity.

I think that DrawPath cheat found wath's going wrong with my stations. I have a left-hand version of the game and I think that is the cause of my problem. when I start the DrawPath cheat I can see that the roads along both sides of the tracks are properly linked, but the tracks along stations are running against the tracks of the puzzle pieces. I already try turn around the stations, turn around the puzzle pieces and I try invert the flow of the one-way-road toll used to activate the stations. But the problem still exists.

SP_Rock_City...

Just a thought here...

Have you only ever installed the NAM once? If you installed once with the right-hand version by default and then re-installed to get the left-hand version, you might have both in your plugins if you did not remove the NAM folder from your plugins before re-installing. You can check the contents of your NAM folder to see if you have either the "NetworkAddonMod_Controller_RIGHT_HAND_VERSION" or the "NetworkAddonMod_Controller_LEFT_HAND_VERSION" file; or possibly both. If both, you can remove the one you don't need.

Also, when you checked the paths with the "Drawpaths" cheat, were the path arrows on the tracks and roads going in the correct direction for a left-hand drive game? Maybe try this without NAM to be sure you do have a left-hand drive game.

Yes, there are. Check for SFBT (road and street versions) and RTMT (road version)

Note: The SFBT stations are on the LEX where you'll need to be registered and logged on to download.

There are a few items linked to in my post above. Plus there are a couple sets by Cogeo here (GLR Stations and Hubs) and here (Suburban Stations), depending on what you want to use them for. You might also try the RTMT set for other things besides GLR. Also, you can search the STEX for others.

Thanks, I'll check them out, just one more question, do any of these have stations for road and street glr, as all the pics I have seen so far are only for Avenues.

If any of these do allow stations for all glr( they should, right?) I will most definetly download them, thank you9.gif

Edit: I downloaded the RTMT Interim T-RAM Stations, but for some reason I can't find them, where should they be, and if they aren't there, is there anything I can do to get them On my game?

Thank You

Yes, the links in my two preceding posts include road and street stops.

They should be in the Misc Transportation menu (the one with the El-Rail tool at the top) toward the end of the menu. Also, be sure to follow the instructions in the Readme carefully for them to work correctly.
