Olympic Terrace Luxary Suites and Apartments (aka giant 7-11), although fictional, is based off of the design of a building in Hong Kong with the same name [link]. This building was modelled in 3ds max and uses some new lighting tecniques that help greatly improve its realism such as night libraries and truNite, a term coined by Simfox (more information about this can be found here [link]). Along with new lighting tecniques, this building was quickly modelled through polygonal editing, which I'm still learning.
