About This File
This is a map of the island of Rugen off the coast of northeast Germany. It has been scaled accurately and was terraformed using geological data, I modified the original greyscale slightly to make the map more conducive to SimCity 4 gameplay. The region is 4x4 large city tiles.
Instructions:
1. Under the directory My Documents > SimCity 4 > Regions, create a new folder with the desired name for your region.
2. Download the config.bmp and place it the folder you just created.
3. Now download the Rugen.jpg and save it where ever you please.
4. Start up SC4 and load the region you just created.
5. Press the keys CTRL + ALT + Shift + R at the same time, thus bringing up a box in the top left hand corner.
6. Navigate your way to the location in which you saved the Rugen.jpg, find it and double click it.
7. Now the region will begin to render, have patience and give the game somewhere around 10 to 30 minutes to render the region. While this is happening, do not run any other programs or use your computer in any other way.
