G'Day, Today I have a map of Broome to show. It is terrain and scale accurate although Broome is very flat. Highest elevation is barely 45m. The map is also small at 16.384km x 16.384km so it won't make one's puter wheeze and being so flat it is very easy to build on. This map was produced with 1second SRTM Dem and satellite data and is 16bit .sc4m format. One needs wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer as it is in .sc4m format, instructions are in the readme. G'Day, Today we have a map of the big doog, Mt Augustus in Western Australia. For many years it was thought that title belonged to Ayers Rock until it was discovered that this was also a large chunk of unbroken sandstone type stuff. Mt Augustus is about 1100m tall and sits on a surrounding plain about 350m high. It is very deserty country and SC4 textures do not really do it justice. This is a medium map 32.768km x 32.768km and all large tiles. It was produced with DEM data and is in .SC4M format Please follow the readme for installation The quickie notes Open Mapper Choose create region from SC4M Open Mt Augustus.SC4M Click save region That's it I think -

G'Day, Today Dec '10, It has rained in the desert and the spinifex is growing like mad. The spinifex fairies are out digging witchety grubs from the soft red earth and all is well. Yes I've updated the Bungle Bungles to 16bits and improved the scaling. Along with adding a row of large tiles across the top I have moved the whole map further west and slightly north. Thanks. (Rains over and updated with 1 second data.) What this time? It's a map of the Bungle Bungle Ranges in Purnululu National Park, WA. Sort of continuing on with thingfishs comment about outback stuff and all. Well most stuff here is out back beyond your dunny, well beyond! This map is 48.152km x 32.768km so is quite large, it is accurate in both terrain and scale and was produced with dem data. Same deal, you know the score now, with wouanagaines mapper and all. Save region and voila. There is a readme in the dl. Thats about it Cheers -

G'Day. This is a map of Albany WA. ***July 2010 Today I've updated this map to 16bit .SC4M format, as such it now requires Wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer to import. Full instructions are in the readme. I also expanded it to 32.768km x 32.768km. See this map up CLOSE and personal. This was produced with dem data and the scale and height is accurate. This imports with wouanagaines SC4Mapper or SC4Terraformer. That's all Cheers I added green Island as it is supposed to be showing.
