Grr, I've been trying to download the San Francisco map, but it never shows up in CXL. Also, I've used the unlocker mod, but I've never seen the Transamerica Pyrimad in CXL either.

Okay, so I bought the game online just after Christmas, and after downloading and installing it, I ran into many problems In solo mode, when I try to play the game, I can't start a city. It shows me a map, but no slots show up for me to click on to start cities. So instead, I've been trying to play online. In online mode, when I start the game and go into a city, a window is already open, I click on the X to close it, and it won't close, so it stays open the whole time I try to play the game. Also, there is two little nonsensical boxes that sit at the bottom center of the screen. One is grey and the other is red, next to them it says fake text. I do love Cities XL (when it works properly) so I've managed to create some cities despite these problems. However, they can't get all that big, because none of the resources that my city is supposed to have ever show up. Trade won't work at all. For some reason, I can't tunnel under water, bridges won't go over the water...... Ummm I also can't place sea ports or make road connections for shipping. I don't know what the deal is or why the game isn't working properly. Do I need to reinstall? If so, how do I do that if I got it via download? Anyone got any ideas?
