  1. What are you/ your parents driving?

Twiggy: That Miata looks like it's in excellent shape, too. Whoever drove it last sure maintained it really well. Zel: Nice Saab, good to see you stuck with a dark color! In the past two years that I've been driving, it's become more apparent how white and silver cars seem to dominate the roads.
  2. Foo Fighters White Limo

    Awesome band, awesome car!
  3. Enchiladas for dinner, best news all day.

      DarthUro

      Awesome! I love enchiladas! ^_^

  4. Whats your favorite radio station?

I really only listen to two rock stations, KFRR 104.1 (Alternative), and KKBZ 105.1 (Classic), both based around Fresno. On longer trips and on days when I have an hour long break between classes, I take my auxiliary cable so I can listen to my iPod. Before coming to any conclusions about my driving, bear in mind that I make playlists beforehand so I'm not fiddling for songs to play.
  5. Stone Creek

It's good to see you still around! Great job matching all of those brick textures, especially around the cathedral in your reply banner. Nice selection of buildings all around, too.
  6. Franklin Notch

Awesome overviews! Downtown has a nice mix of buildings, and the parking garages fit right in. I'm hoping that Mike Seith releases the 4 and 8-level versions soon though!
  7. The United Cities*4th Birthday and Retirement!*

Nice interchanges, the one at the top on the page is pretty crazy! I'm guessing you named Bullard Village after the real Bullard Ave. in Fresno, huh?
  8. Muse - Supermassive Black Hole On my parents' old stereo system, which still sounds great.
  9. Member of the Month Awards: February 2011

Congrats guys! I'm looking forward to seeing how the medals look with the new interface.
  10. Post your picture here II

Great song, but my favorite off of the album is definitely Plug In Baby. I don't think I've ever posted a pic of myself here, but better late than never! Taken during my trip to Arizona last December. I hadn't been there since 2005, so it was a really enjoyable week.
  11. Friday has finally arrived... another week of college almost gone by.

  12. The Simtropolis Annuarians Club

Missed my 5th anniversary by a day. At least I remembered this time!
  13. MLB 2010

As a Giants fan, I'm definitely really excited for this series. Texas is going to be real tough... the numbers they put up against the Yankees were crazy.
  14. What are you/ your parents driving?

We do have a lot of younger members, so I would expect the older cars. Between myself and my friends, the newest car is a '02 Accord. The rest? A '71 Beetle, '86 MR2, and a late 90's Blazer. I like my car, but if I had the money, I'd definitely go out and buy a Mustang, preferably a '11 GT.

My dad drives a '96 Toyota Avalon, my mom drives a '00 Acura TL, and I drive a '91 Honda Accord. All three have over 100k miles but are still running really well. Last week when I took my car to get serviced they had to do additional work with the brakes, including replacing the master cylinder. Sometimes when I drove for around 15 minutes or more I would gradually have to push the brake pedal farther and farther down each time I had to make a complete stop.
  16. MP Duane Reade

Nice work on another great W2W! The billboards look good, especially the Kasey Kahne Vitaminwater and Camaro ones. I'm a car guy, so those were my favorites. :P

Congrats! I think you two may have the most interesting descriptions to date.
  18. Hummer Goes Bye-bye

Speaking of Ontario, all three of the main police vehicles (Crown Victoria, Charger, and Impala) are all built there. I've been viewing the huge facilities and the rows of new cars in Google Earth for almost an hour.
  19. Hummer Goes Bye-bye

It's going to be interesting to see how many agencies will use the new Caprice when Chevrolet releases it next year. I don't expect to see many of them around my neck of the woods since I never see any Impalas. Basically it's all Crown Vics and Chargers here. Anyway, I never really cared for the H2. The H3's were nicer and much more affordable, but I won't be losing any sleep over Hummer's demise.
  20. Cologne Cable

Awesome job on everything! The lotting is fantastic, and those HD props really look sharp.
  21. Foo Fighters - The Pretender I don't know why I didn't buy it from iTunes sooner... it's a great song.
  22. How do you shop?

The only thing I really buy right now are Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, but soon enough that'll change. I figure that collectibles are a good investment, so about once a week I'll go around various stores on the hunt for the newest releases. Sometimes (like right now), I manage to get lucky and find all the cars I'm looking for in one trip, so I don't have to shop for awhile. They're only $1 apiece, so I should be able to continue my collecting for many years to come.

Congratulations on your well-deserved awards, CaptCity and b22rian!
  24. ST's 2009 NFL Thread.

I'll start off by saying that this year's crop of ads were pretty good. The Volkswagen and Audi ones were my favorites. Congrats to the Saints on a great win! Boy, was that one heck of a game. It really didn't look good after the 1st quarter ended with the Colts leading 10-0 already, but the Saints pretty much had possession the whole 2nd quarter. Rolling the dice with the onside kick turned out to be an excellent decision, and Tracy Porter's interception sealed the deal.
