I really need to defend Los Angeles here. Sure there's a ton of traffic, but the city grid stays pretty consistent and it's pretty hard to get lost in the city. In time it will get a great rail system, and then it will no longer be in this thread.

The US's most pathetic highways

That's what great about LA Freeways. When most of them were built, eminent domain was something that was easy to use, and it was used a lot. The engineers here are some of the best in the world. -
The US's most pathetic highways

California again, although most of the highways are great. CA110, the Pasadena freeway. It was made a long time ago and it was made for traffic that went 40 miles an hour. Getting off the freeway is dangerous and getting on is even worse. You have to come to a complete stop, and wait for a hole in the traffic to jump onto the freeway. The link below shows portions of the freeway. http://www.scvresources.com/highways/sr_110.htm -

I've searched this thread, but I haven't found anything about on/off ramps. I know that they are being worked on, but how can put them now without an intersection and without using a freeway?- 3,919 Replies

I haven't seen it requested anywhere, but has anyone tried to make banked curves on highways. This is a very important part of a highway system that was completely ignored by Maxis/EA.

That's strange. When I downloaded the program it didn't have an installer. I'm starting to think that is causing my problem.
-
It sounds like it might be easier to reinstall it. I don't have enough space on my C drive to move everything around.
-
Thanks for that. But I still can't change the directory when I go to File --> Settings. It won't let me edit anything.
-
2 questions, first, on the settings, what is the difference between user's plug-ins and application plugins? Second, how do I change the file locations? It is looking on the C drive and most everything I have is on my F drive.

Try a hard disk case. You can salvage some of the information. -
For the first one, I can't really post a guide. You just have to work the slope where the transition goes until it gets as good as you want it to be. As for the tunnel, it'll take some time for me to post it.
-
I can post a guide that shows how to do it step by step later on tonight (west coast time). Do you want to know the tunnel method or my other method ?
