        You can :)    Go to the download and choose the one called 7.Parklets (LowRes)   Unzip it and you'll see two files - put both of them in SimCityData.  I'm not sure exactly where they'll show up (my guess is the Parks>Nature tab).  Good luck!   I can't get the game to start with the lowRes. I am running the game in HighRes. I still like to use you're package with out AKAR. by the way i am on a MAC too
