I pre-ordered it with amazon, and it's not... and they will not honor the price I previously ordered it for... I'm very tempted to order it from origin now...

What were the other planned expansion packs for SC4?

Uhm, who are these people who prefer to play medium sized tiles in SC4? I so prefer the larger tiles because they give the big city feel. But, also, I would surround the big city tiles with medium sized tiles to make them more suburban feel... and then I would use the small sized tiles for thefarms and even more small town/outer fringe suburbs. I have a feeling in the next DLC or expansion pack we will have the option of bigger tiles.

Probably different country city sets... maybe actual international city sets (like Tokyo, New York, Moscow)? maybe a transit expansion pack? maybe an expansion pack that offers larger regions to the possibility to have a country full of cities (you can name the capital, where that city will have special buildings)?

Even Sim City Societies got an expansion pack. Therefore, I think it is logical the new SimCity will.

What is the link to the blue hope city journal? I searched for it on simtropolis and coudlnt find it.

I agree Rakeesh. I don't think the Planet Option should be free... but they should allow the content packs for solo player for like $4.99US (just a random suggestion). Keep the GEM's cheaper for the Planet mode, just like what is previously mentioned on the Cities XL website. I think if MC would allow the content packs for solo players the complainers would be pleased and we wouldn't have nonstop complaining here on Simtropolis.

The bus system looks great! I look forward to implementing it into my cities! btw, jacktaranto, it is $6.32 a month if you buy 3 months for Planet subscripion... nowhere CLOSE to $10 a month. I admit if you choose to go month by month you are going to give them more money, but its just plain stupid to go for one month when you get a better deal for 3 months.

The thing about most of the poster's logic is that you are saying this is half a game you are buying with 40 bucks. The thing is, that is the FULL game, and to pay 5-6 bucks a month gives you MORE than the full game. You can still play the game in single player mode.

Well when SC4 was so great and how we loved it and how it was an "answer to our dreams," we had VERY high expectations for the next Sim City. I think if EA marketed it as a society game rather than a city-builder game it would not receive as many bad reactions as we give it. Even though I say this, I do think SCS is a below-average game and I uninstalled it after 20 minutes of play.

It wasn't that hard to find a code... I found mine within like 5 minutes... just look at the normal text written on the site. The codeword I found was not in any special letters that caught my eye. In fact, I had to read it like 3 times to make sure it was a codeword.
