The city of November's monthly update newsletter included a story involving the city's recent road rework. It appears the city did not perform an adequate job working with local business in regard to their street access entrances. As a result, many business employees have had to navigate certain city structures in order to get to work; the business owners have started a lawsuit against the city.

An earthquake shook Kingsridge this morning, breaking the interstate 80/180 interchange. Many drivers (who weren't paying attention) suddenly found themselves careening toward a pillar of concrete.

Here's something that's simply unnatural. A windmill in any direction casts the same shadow. Hummm... that Mother Nature is one tricky lady!

It's very unusual to build your cellar above ground. It's down right freaky that the cellar doesn't cast a shadow! And here we have 1158 Sims working at the bus stop! How about that! Fantastic.

The Anatomy of a Parking Garage So, I was just staring at this parking garage, waiting to see if the parking garage/bus stop configuration would permit Sims to use it. And I thought:

Ok, so maybe I went a little crazy with God-mode trees... but geez, I really didn't mean to plant them on the highway.

the7trumpets, I thought these pictures might be of interest to you and the rest of the Modd Sqadd. I installed all 4 of the transit fixes the Modd Sqadd has release (the 5th having been recalled ) - however, that didn't resolve my issue. I opened up one of my C & I cities and ran it for several months, maybe even a year. I then decided to take a look at how some of my Sims were getting to work. I use streets to connect the side of an avenue; this way it doesn't add a street light or a stop sign. Nice. Now, if my calculations are right (or at least close to) these Sims are adding about 15 minutes to their morning commute. They seem to have a problem making a right turn where they should. Their evening commute is fine, as they can make the left to go back home. And, my personal favorite: Whew-hew!! Doin' donutes in the intersection! Although - from this picture, it appears that there are some Sims that can make the right.

Hello everyone! Good to meet you all. My name is Mark and I'm 32. I live in San Jose, California and work as a software engineer. I'm also in college going after my bachelor's in computer science; it's a long road, as I'm only taking one class a quarter. But hey, between working full time, playing SC4, C&C Generals and Magic, there's just enough time left to take a class. --mjbalunis

Ah - my first post. The pictures here made me laugh - so I thought I'd share a couple of fun pictures from my latest city. I particularly like this one: the Drive-Thru Hospital. [Photo too big ---Deleted---] And - what's up with this intersection? Perhaps my education isn't high enough... =) m
