I'm Aurel, a french city-builder enthusiast, I've been recommended your community by my coworker. He told me you have very interesting conversations around, especially on the Discord. Here's a bit more about me and my intentions to bring to the community.
That goes without saying but I'm a huge fan of simulation games, in particlar citty builders.
I received SimCity on super Nintendo for my 8th birthday but had no idea how this would shape me for the future. I then played to all SimCity versions. I know I'm probably part of a minority but I also loved the 2015 version and have a ~700h playtime on it.
I also enjoy a lot a good roller coaster tycoon, Factorio, or a game of OpenTTD (only played a couple of times).
I've also been a software architect for a dozen of years now, and it turned out I started to work on my own city builder. I won't cite the name here, it's no place for self advertisement
But yeah that means I'm up to chat about gameplay and mechanics with you all. If some are interested in the future we (the game development has a team of 5 now) would be down as well to offer beta keys and brainstorms about players expectations, desires and motivations in a such game.
