  1. Hi there. I suppose I will post a screenshot if people are curious or my explanation isn't clear enough, but in my city there is a small section (maybe 4x10) of zoneable squares that appeared in the middle of nowhere. There's no roads there, but I painted the squares yellow and buildings appeared. Soon they go abandoned due to garbage/crime because services can't get there and they have no road. Now though I can't even de-zone or rezone it, hovering the zoning tool over those squares doesn't "highlight" them. Destroying all roads in the area, messing up the terrain with mountains or boulders also doesn't make these zone-able squares go away, they seem to come back as soon as the land they were on becomes suitable again. It's a very small zone but it's driving me insane. Any ideas ?
  2. Hi there. My city has a lot of low residential suburbs. But even low residential, houses end up being not high, but quite large buildings with several households (3-4) living in them. I tried zoning single squares, or 2x2, but this also resulted in either big houses, or they turned into ugly blocky apartment blocks, with very little variety. between them. I'd like to create a suburbia with single-family homes like in SimCity 4, what's the best way to do that?
  3. Small question about editing roads in the asset editor. I edited the "dirt road" (forgot the exact in-game name) by enabling the paved tickbox, and adding random trees on the sides. This made me a nice little road for suburban neighbourhoods. However, even though the road is paved (both the tickbox, and visually), cars driving on it still leave a dust trail behind, what's the best way to fix it? I would also like to edit the texture of the road to make the centerline yellow (like in the US) but couldn't figure out how.
