Edit: I want to join the texture team for SimMars. I make graphics daily for 5 years now. Doing it for a grander goal, would be an honor. Thanks in advance. -
Apostrophe and Quotation Marks ()

LOL! sorry to find this funny, but I thought it had some hidden meaning. heheee. We get even worse quirkiness at other text based forums. I say let ride, as it could have something to do with keyboard encoding, maybe? -
edit: Okay Dirk: This is my first time actually adressing you, somewhat personally. I have spent the last 2 days perusing rules and forum etiquette, here at ST. I agree with you on all counts. EVERYONE should read these thoroughly and understand there content. But I must say; there are some, that are enforcing these rules too harshley and most of all, without politeness. If you must say a negative; Always follow a negative with a positive. Psych 101. Aronion: Edited by author, because he is a very bad boy. EDIT: Did I say all that? Now that I look back at this; I find it harsh and cruel of me. Aronian is no longer around, but I feel I have went overboard above and have decided to edit out the garbage. I apologize for showing my anger, Aronion, Dirk. I am overjoyed at the changes that have occurred at Simtropolis over the past 6 months! The community is becoming fair minded and patient. The moderators are doing fantastic work! New members are constantly commenting on the friendly welcomes they recieve. Sitizens are really helping and sticking with the problems others are having, to see them solved. Again, If you catch this edit, I am sorry for being too descriptive.

I have RCT1 and 2, not 3 and I can say one thing for sure after reading all these pages and comments; I probably will not ever buy it. I agree with Momo, Offering patches for their errors, while having to buy an expansion? that is dishonesty, IMO. Unfair marketing practice.

How can we add new retaining walls/retaining wall textures to SC4?
TheCrybKeeper replied to DuskTrooper's topic in SC4 Modding - Open Discussion
So what if I make textures and upload them to the Official Textures thread; must they be 128x128 pixal or 256 or 512? -
Yes, great historical CJ! That is what I did not want to say yet; I knew it was true story. That it happened, is the tragedy, my friend. How can I not read more. Beautiful CJ, all around!

Attention BATters: I wanted to post where I thought, the correct Simtroplians would see this. I am attempting to make custom textures for those who need them. Anyone who requests this in the Official Textures thread in this forum, I will respond in order of time and date of requests. taking in to account my, slow but humanoid speed settings. If I can get the specs worked out; We together, can fake, 3D objects, shadowing and lighting, Directional reflections, all with a texture. this means no polygons, intense details and low mem use, while the Simmer sees an illusion. My only questions are; is there a thread here that explains all the settings for shadows, reflection, angles of all things? I am about positive the sunlight in game is at 25 degrees x25 x 45? shadows are soft at about 50%. what else should I know, to get quality results?

TPP: Wow, am I the only one who noticed? as it gets gradually darker through this journey, you can see the yellow taxi, traveling the highway, and getting off just before they arrive at AP! I love it! Do not know if it was intentional, but I still think it was very good for realism! PSF master!!!

Sloppet: ........I cannot say it yet, as you may know. This is truly sad and makes me angry for the small boy. YOu are definitely an awesome writer! I am drawn in with this epilogue. Will you tell us more? 95% rated by Adonai Graphics LTD City Journal may be short, but it is full of emotion and understanding! I am taken to this place, by this story. And can not fully attempt to understand, such a tragic beginning for a life.

Chapter 5 Dark Arcology 2 Back to the present... Benzii spoke up first. Arcos' still intact. We all know what that means. He said, with a bit of sarcasm attached. There goners. Shut it, Ben! We don't need the refresher course. Vresii was thinking the same thing anyways, as were all the crew by now. Settlers should have salvaged the Arco by this time and a settlement should be within shouting distance of the landing site. All Nucladians know the routine. Taught since their Birth to be ready for a new home; they all understood the arcologies function. It was designed to be dis-assembled and converted to temporary shelter and Biofarming. Instead, the DarkArco lay precariously and overgrown, no sign of life or lights and simply, left to rust. They brought the flyzii Pod to a soft landing, about 50 meters distant from DarkArco and quickly dis-embarked. Once details were sent out, Vres and Ben went straight for the bridge. The bridge was centrally located in these older Arcos and it appeared that Vres and Ben were having to climb through more debris than should be evident. Someone or somebody, had been dis-mantling the Arco, but why did they do it in such an, un-organized fashion and where the hell were they now?! Finally finishing the obstacle course of haphazzard parts, The friends came to the Bridge entrance. The eye's not workin Brenzii attempted the manual release lock. It gave with a slow sound of oxidation and decay. No lights, where was the auxilary power? Vresii pointed his spotlight and went for the control panel. Strangely, the power was on! What was using it? It for sure, wasn't the Arco. One mystery fading and another has arisen.....What next, thought Vresii. Meanwhile,..... Back in Terracai City, the Brenzii Process project, was getting under way. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Benzii-Process-Dist1.jpg align=baseline> Masters of moving the ground; the Nucladians bring in their top Dredgo and excavato teams. The work moves fast and the region takes on a new identity; A terraced and rocky one. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Benzii-Process-Dist2.jpg align=baseline> Utora: Glad you keep coming back, friend! I know a long distance between updates. I suddenly realized that textures might be my true calling at Simtropolis. so, I have been making custom ones for several BATters and the like. Busy busy. Kwakelaar: Yep same as I say above; sorry for leaving you hanging. Thank you for coming by and commenting! Rooker1: Thanks for floating in Rooker and I will, for sure!(per your CJ sig) NewYorkRunway1: Thank you NYR! I have been to Nashville. My parents own 8 acres in Crossville, 50 miles south east of there, I believe. Great Parks in Tenn. I love to visit them! Dhoppeii: You are so right. I sensed things were moving awful quick. Only I am getting caught up in the story now and almost forgot to include the game! Storyline was moving to rapidly as well. You are very adept, my friend and you have very nice grammatics. I love good writers! Peace out friend and thank you for coming by and commenting! Please come back and help me out a bit more anytime, friend. I see double ii's; can I use your A.K.A in my CJ? heehee. MissTonya: Thank to you as well, but believe me I am not very cute. LOL. more like; toothless, glasses, and a big butt, a large nose. lets not forget the protruding chin, that makes my profile look like the crescent moon. heeheee. Thank you so kindly, for stopping in! I am honored! Chocolatemax285: Thanks for coming in to visit my alien city! Yes, I will visit the chocolate factory, my friend. Deathtoall: Yes I too appreciate the STEX, friend. Thank very much for coming in and also thanks for not killing the Nucladians. LOL! Sloppet: Well, yer right it is nice, but not great. I need to work a bit more on presentation. My images are not as good as many, many others, in the CJ forum. My story is developing pretty good and as I go. Even I have no clue, what I will write here next. I have been busy making custom textures in BTE, so Thursday, will be my CJ and Visitors day. Look for me in your CJ or homepages, tomorrow folks! Thanks to all who visit here and peruze. A very precious Thank you to any who comment! Peace out/Keep On Keepin' On -
Wondeful to see how the textures look! Great windows! Names? Emerald windows= Emerald Resorts? To obvious maybe? maybe to flashy. I'm not so good with names I guess.

Okay I went to work on the lettering and done with the hydrualic cylinders and without. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//bulk20heade47.JPG align=baseline> https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//bulk20heade488.JPG align=baseline> Glenni: Absolutely perfect! Teamwork works.
-
Pmiller: Yes, I can. It is a slow process though, I will finish it today. Cool! now I have a good idea what you need. Thanks much! Also the other doors? many different ones in the works. If my textures won't do the job, hang on to them, as you may find something else to use them for. I usually discover, happy accidents with them myself. Glenni: did Odd From Swedens reflection work? Is that all you need just a rectangle of one glass texture? I can blur the reflect to different degrees called DOF or depth of field. Odd From Sweden: I like your glass reflection! Nice work!
