  1. Who is your best friend on this site?

No one really. There are people I like and people I don't like but I don't really have a 'best friend' -- only in RL.
  2. Firebird's Hopefully Published Book

A book about ST? A good way to get us another 25,000 members ... =] So how is this book going? Been working hard on it? Wouldn't it be slighlty ironic if Tyler read a post that said "I never want to see my words in a book"? Just a thought.
  3. Server Upgrades!

I definitly feel the forums moving faster. Thanks Dirk!
  4. American English - British English

British English is so different from American English that I no longer refer to American English as English but as American. The best part about "American" is that you can take any form of speech and turn it into another form of speech. Like the noun bat used as a verb, bat. Instead of "typing" you could say "keyboarding" and it would still be valid "American". N_O_Body: Isn't "right?" in American just like "eh?" in Canadian English? That's not cricket, right? In spanish,
  5. Grammer/Speling/Punchuashion

Ok, that also annoys me -- my fingers never seem to work the way I tell them to... or did I just think too much about spelling it correctly? Regardless, I did say that I can't spell. [Edit:] I edited to correct "annoy" and I spelled it wrong again.
  6. Grammer/Speling/Punchuashion

I share your pet peeve. I can understand minor mistakes and some spelling mistakes (especially because I can't spell for my life. Who knew that collaspe had two L's in it? Not me.) from native english speakers (such as spelling "definetly" wrong as I do half the time) but gross mispunctuation and unorganized sentences just annoys me. BTW, I found a missing colon, an "and" where an "or" should be and a slightly awkward sounding sentence in your post. I'm good at finding other's grammar mistakes.
  7. 15% is a bit of an understatement considering that at a minimum, 42% of my RAM is being used. Currently I have around 30 fps on HL2, 20-25 on CS:S (with a server of 20-44 people; ping of 5-40) and 30-40 fps on DOD:S on Vista. As long as Vista hasn't affected my graphics card, then more RAM should fix my problem. BTW -- None of my games have encountered problems on Vista that completely stop them from running. Somehow (I have no idea why) Vista has made RCT faster even with many of the graphics settings on high.
  8. ^How well does it run on your computer? I don't know if it'll do well on mine, I only have a reasonable graphics card + vista is sucking up all my RAM.
  9. Where do you normally buy your games?

Gamestop all the way. But sometimes, if it is available on Steam, then I'll snag it from there.

  17. Dis you see the Light???

TT, that was just about the coolest story I've ever read. Anyway: No. Never. No NDE's, no OBE's. None. Na-uh. Na-da. Other various N words with similar 'no' meanings. I haven't even broken a bone. My worst injury was probably when I slit the top of my head open and had to get 4 staples. Or maybe when I was 2-ish, I shot myself in the leg with a staple gun. That pretty much it...
  18. Making A Video

Well, If you scraped up another $639, you could buy flash Anyway.. Windows Movie Maker is a good choice for free things as menotyou said. If you don't all ready have, you should be able to dig it up on Microsofts website. I think theres a program called Nero on my computer somewhere that came with it. 22. Show us your computer errors

Sure you can have a copy! Though how to use it is semi-complicated: When you open it you will come to blank, black screen. In order to create an error message, you need to type in a line describing it in this format: Prompt;Title;Buttons A great example would be Please remove all bologna from drive e:\ then hit OK.;Error in drive e:\;ok remember to separate each field with a semi-colon ; Button types include: ok okcancel yesno yesnocancel critical (will create a giant red !) abortretryignore retrycancel ! ? i To make compound errors (After one error has been avoided, another appears) simply place another error code on the line below the first. Click on the black textbox to execute your script-ola. Please ask if you have any questions. PS: Any one is open to use this BUT please use at your own risk, annoying someone with a never ending error (which can be ended [unless labeled as critical] using the task manager) can get them pretty ticked off at you.
