Ok, i have an good idea to make RHW a very useful in urban areas (Ok, it is to be Rural, but just read that...). Look, i spend my January on Brasilia (to who don't know, Brasilia is the Brazil's capital city [No, it isn't Buenos Aires!]). When in there, i realized, that the most of Brasilia highways (more the "Eixo Monumental" and "Eixo Estrutural" [translated somewhat like "Monumental Axis" and "Structural Axis"]) act like RHW! So, with all that, i have an idea, why, besides of building full intersections, don't build pieces of intersections that can be joint to make personalized intersections. It should be like the on/offramps in Maxis highways... you plug the off/onramp piece in your RHW, then it leave a piece of RHW in the end, and you plug the next piece of the intersect on that, and so on until you make a full intersection that accomplish your city design... I will model something here at night, when i came back from the university... to jplumbley: Hey man, your work is great, and it seems to complete RHW, since i think that the direct conversion from RHW to Avenue a little unreal (We don't have RHW in Brazil, so i don't know really...) so, with this, i can make some underpass and overpass models with less problem, please post the texture that you are using, just to me make an simple underpass with access to these UHW/OWR (Urban High Ways/One Way Roads), and i will try to make it full functional models...- 3,919 Replies

Ok, i know that it isn't so cool, and it is unfinished, but i wanted to try the challenge: After i did most of this, i think that it is only to enter the 5way, so the slow cars enter in center lane, but is just mirror it and you will have the opposite side too... Hey, I'm working now in a overpass between two RHW without connections, in two or three days i will have screenshots. About the 3ds 9, i export to gmax as 3ds, but it is causing some problems in to fit, so, someone can say where is the 3ds plugin? and i want to know where is the maxis intersections, which of the Dats is the right? i want to see, because split all models in a tile per tile is boring, but if that is the only way, so i will do... Tarkus, please post the textures to make an 4 lane and 6 lane when you done the work, to i make some over/underpass for that too...- 3,919 Replies

Ok, i almost ended the underpass, but i have some problems: 1.: I'm not an experienced modder, so i don't know how to make it usable as an lot, and i think that make this an lot (like the marrast one don't fit well... 2.: I tried to read the tutorial about make an Intersection, but it look so hard to do, and i want to have this and another underpasses ready to the next version of RHW, so, if someone here can take this model and make this work like an intersection, PM me... Here is some images in 3DS Max9 and one ingame (just to see how it look!): Ok, the ingame don't look well, so i will re-render it later, if it get ok, i will do the another underpasses.... If someone need to model something, call me, I'm not a professional, but i will do what i can... Ps.: ahh, i was about to forget, i was thinking about make some turns like we see in Need for Speed highways... if you think that it is an good idea, ask here and i do one to try.... ah, and sorry if i write something weird, I'm brazilian...- 3,919 Replies
