  1. I'm so glad that I finally got to see Mad Max: Fury Road last night.
    It was a pretty decent film, but there was no end monologue! Max is supposed to be remembered almost as a myth as the movie closes.

    It may make me sound like a sadist, but I also feel that the movie could've benefited from being much more violent. Come on, when people fall off the convoy and get run over, you wanna see!

    And seeing that beautiful Ford Falcon get wrecked twice... sacrilege.

    Loved the cars, the minimalist plot, and the aesthetics. Makes me wanna go out and get the game, even though I don't think much of it. At numerous points the soundtrack didn't really fit either.

    If you haven't seen it yet, go see it!!

  2. It scares me how much life has changed.

  3. How convenient that I got back into Wasteland 2 less than a week before the Directors Cut was released (the DC has some issues and strange changes, but I can hardly complain when it was offered free to owners of the original.)

    And now I can play it all again if I ever decide to buy a 'next-gen' dust collector.

  6. I wish we could get Sim City 4 in 3D. No major changes, just the game in 3D (maybe with some variable weather and seasons). Then let me make time-lapse driving videos so that I can spectacularly show off my cities from a grey Junker's point of view.

  7. So annoyed that I can't play Sim City 4 anymore. I refuse to re-purchase a game that I have owned for over 10 years (I know it's almost worthless by now, but I'm stubborn like that) and I'm not intelligent (or confident) enough to mess around with my computer.

    I can only hope that a future Windows update remedies this issue. Though I seriously doubt it.

      How did I miss the EA support thing... think I'll give that a try. Uninstalling the update isn't in my best interest, but the idea is becoming increasingly tempting :P

      I have uninstalled the update , but it will re-install , as it seems to reset your update settings .

      Be sure to check your settings after updates are installed . Good luck  .

  9. More than 10 years after its initial release and still nothing has surpassed SimCity 4. Even after all this time I periodically go back to it.

    Wonder if I'll be saying the same thing in another 10 years time.

    Even the Lot Editor is still a ton of fun to mess around in.

  12. Things sure have changed since I was last on this website. I think it was around '07 the last time I logged on here. Can't even remember the username or password for my old account.

  13. This has most likely been mentioned already, but something really needs to be done about the way the cars spawn in parking lots. They have random colours and even random parked positions, but it's always the same wagon (low wealth), sedan (medium wealth) or old luxury sedan (high wealth). It's an ultimately meaningless little detail, but would make things look so much more realistic. Assuming that it's possible, or has been done already. Maybe I'm missing something.
