In real life here, I work in 12 research labs, and they all use radiation. None of us that work in the labs are worried about radioactivity. We all eat our lunch and drink our soda's and coffee's, in the labs. It's not major radiation, nobody needs to walk around in space suit type outfits to use it, or anything like that. It was my job to dispose of the radioactive waste for a while too. No big deal. SimCity is not so much like real life all the time, but certainly nobody is afraid to live next to our building, that I know off.

I joined because I had a question, and the SC site, was no help at all. Now some days, I spend more time on Simtropolis, than playing SC4. Ive learned so much about SC4, from ST, and I learn something new everyday. Simtropolis is the best!

How about a Motel 6? Has that one been done before? Cant have a good city without a Motel 6 in it! I have many fond memories of Motel 6's, and having trains go by my window when im sleeping, hearing gunshots and watching drug busts go down. (and those bath towls, the size of a postage stamp)

Hello everyone, I live in Michigan, in the United States. In Michigan, all in the same week, it can be 80 degrees (26Celcius?), and a couple days later you're shoveling snow, then its warm again. In Michigan, we say if you dont like the weather, just wait a minute. I work as an assistant to a bunch of wacky scientist in 12 labs. Get to do fun stuff like sterilizing really nasty lab waste, scraping mystery crud out of beakers, and spend hours putting tips into tiny holes in boxes. My clothes are all full of holes from chemicals. People get into physical fights over parking spaces where I work. Im trying to remember why I still work here.... Hi from Michigan, in the U.S. A.!

Date: 4/20/2005 10:08:30 PM Author: nadsvb great, yes, i am glad to know i'm not the only one! actually, i've found a couple other strange and seemingly intermittent U-Drive-It bugs, also... this monorail one is the most annoying tho, especially as it gives the sunlight power plant, which is always good to get sooner than later. argh... it's frustrating. Sorry if im being annoying to anyone, bringing up an older post, but I got my monorail u-drive-it mission to work now. I just downloaded the latest update, and suddenly my monorail works perfectly. I thought I downloaded the update a long time ago, but I discovered I didnt. My ice cream truck driver still comes out of the truck though, but thats another post. Do you have the latest SimCity update?

Date: 4/6/2005 1:50:49 AM Author:nadsvb i am unable to complete any monorail u-drive-it missions. once my train pulls into any target station, it fades away and i'm given a Mission Failed message. is this a known error? what can i do? thanks! The same thing happens when I do a monorail u-drive-it mission too. Usually, the first station the train gets to, the train fades away, then I get the Mission Failed message. A couple times it made it through one station, but never through the 2nd one. I dont know if thats fixable, but at least you are not the only one having that problem.

I just recently downloaded several landmarks, but the growling noise has been happening for months before, from the beginning. Must be the BATs growing, but sounds like a 2000 pound tiger growling.
