Interesting thread. Seems to be quite a bit of confusion (mine as well). I have however located the appropriate Plugins folder (that was not easy - I found a thread that worked - by holding down the 'option' key under the 'go' button - the hidden library folder finally showed up). I'm unclear as to what files to place there - I have no version of windows running (having come to my senses - no offense intended) - is this a requirement? I do have a Win7 machine somewhere - but no windows version of SimCity 4. I bought the SimCity 4 Deluxe version off the Mac store recently (April sometime) and am running OS X V 10.9.2 - Am I eligible for any of these plugins - and how do I go about obtaining and placing them correctly? I have about 6 cities on various tiles all thriving and connected by roads only (I haven't figured out if the subways cross over as well) and am looking for more entertaining functionality. So I'm an old user (first version of simcity many many years ago) and am playing this new version on a mac - no problems so far - but am unclear as to wether or not I can add any of these 'mods' etc to enhance the gaming experience? apparently I caught this just as it was being released on the mac platform? Using OS X v10.9.2 and what appears to be V 1.1.0 of Simcity (unless I'm looking in the wrong place). Any help with clarification would be great. I have oodles of patience and will keep reading up on all these thousands of posts. Thanx

Hello, Started with the original SimCity many many years ago.....got to the point of everyone taking off to another planet...and got bored....And now I'm back trying out the new version of SC4. Very nice job! I'm 54 married to a lovely lady - living in Charlotte, NC after a 12,000 mile trip after leaving Clearwater, FL and going all over (northern California, Oregon, Washington, Vancouver Island, Montana, Idaho etc etc... and ended up here. Lovely place with a good mix of what we were looking for (except the politics...but that's bad everywhere!). I found this site after trying to found out how these 'mods' etc...work to enhance the experience of having multiple large screens and a good fast Mac to play the game on. This is quite fun so far....fast moving and much better than the original - it's progressed quite nicely. Nice to read about you all. - K
