Some of the service buildings like the Garbage Dump, Recycling Center, and the Education service buildings are only active, or open at certain times of the day. I think there are other buildings like that also, but not sure right off hand. Also to ease some worry this may have brought, all of the Emergency services are always running, however questionably that is. Take care.

This is so helpful for traffic. I have thought of a similar method to this that was good on a smaller city size ~30k, but I am not sure if it will still work on bigger cities. My method involves a double road using only one side when possible. I will try to show how this is done: __ X| |X X=whatever building you have, or type of zone you implement. X| |X |=whatever road/street/avenue you may have. X| |X __=whatever road/street/avenue you may have to create a way to reach the next section for whatever. X| |X X| |X X|__|X This way you can still use the one side only to zone, or layout building, and compensate for some lost space by doubling up on the road/street/avenue you are using while implementing this one side only method. There is still a space between the road/street/avenue to run it parallel with another one so that only one side is being used. If it wasn't for that space, then we could make the L.A. Super Freeway. Just imagine the gridlock that would cause (cue maniacal laughter). Take care.
