The library is nice. Kind of reminds me of Malcolm X College in Chicago

Well the fallout of the auto-industry is another huge factor.

BTW, congrats Jason on getting an internship at the prestigious Smith Group architecture firm. You should wow them with all this work you've done.
-
Very well done Jason

Ford Field pushed ahead further last year. I still have it, and intend to keep working on it. BTW, the Amsterdammer building in Ann Arbor was supposed to be a row of similar buildings down the entire block

I'm actually living near Kerrytown. budweiserdude was working on Michigan Stadium. Not sure why he stopped..either because he is busy or waiting for more details on renovations.

Alright all, I've restarted on Hudson's Department Store.

As an employee of the Media Center, I now understand why it was absolute HELLL today. I didn't realize people were having reviews. A bunch of other employees were sick today and I was running the Fiery server and cash register at the same time. A lot of people looked like trainwrecks. I figured people were having reviews, but I wasn't sure who. I like the new building Jason, keep up the good work. BTW, there is somewhere on North Campus where several large computers can render your file all at once. I've heard from people it's pretty fast. You might be able to use this resource to get your projects done faster. I just don't know where it is.

^ That still exists today, but the entire building was moved 2 blocks over right by the stadiums giving them lots of business. There's photos out on the web of the building being moved down the street.

Wolverine Hotel was demoed for a lousy reason. The owner of Comerica Park baseball stadium wanted the Fox theater (shown in photos above) visible from the stadium His solution was even more pathetic making it a parking lot. I mean, not even a park for crying out loud.

Well keep an eye on the 7th floor, ya hear?
-
^ What? No. You must understand Tony Peoria's plans for this building He's trying to operate a viable office building. There was no other choice or else the whole building would be demoed. So you are telling me they should tear down a perfectly functioning historic office building just to save theater portion? Do realize the theater may be eventually converted back into performance space? Photos of Wolverine Hotel Signs breaks on top of the hotel.

I still have Hudsons (I've been recovering some nice color images of detailing on it for texture. budweiserdude, I hate your stupid P.O.S tower. Because it flooded tonight, my friends called, I have 3 displaced residents staying at my house right now. I guess it's raining down floor to floor.
-
Wow, no wonder several of my friends are crammed in a one room apartment in that place.
-
^ How much are rents for studio or 1 bedroom apartments in that 19 story hunk of junk over there. I'm looking for a place to live.

Absolutely horrible that there are people like this out there. Btw this quote in the article: "He added that he didn't know the victim or his grandfather because his neighbors all work hard and keep to themselves." Perhaps one of the heaviest dangers of suburbia - Neighbors who DON'T KNOW their neighbors.

I really should revive BATing the dime building, but college workload is really killing me right now.
-
By stating "versus" in the thread title you are baiting the thread to instigate some sort of argument or competition. Why even debate the two? It boggles my mind that there are people in this world who can't mind their own business and respect other peoples views. What do you intend to debate next? Race?

Born and Raised: Saginaw, MI: 70,000 Metro Area: 400,000 Now: Detroit, MI: 880,000 Metro Area: 5,200,000 Detroit population fell below 1 million two years ago and Michiganders cried a river. oh well.
