But i am wondering if i need to create a rivers in The starti area even if i am trying to replicate a real area where there is no river or any surface source of water, There are a couple of 'rules' for the starting tile; - you need a highway connection - you need a river (with flow preferably) - this is mostly to take care of sewage. In the early game you just dump your sewage in the river, that's why it's required. The flow is 'required' since you need a place to pump clean water from for your people to drink. If you feed them poop-water, your city won't last long. It's smart to have the following - a rail connection nearby (doesn't have to be in the starter tile) - shipping route(s) - airplane route(s) - additional highway connections (I don't think you can build outside of the 5x5 center grid after you've started the game) - natural resources (forest, fertile lands, ore, oil) Thank You Very much. Hello, I am trying to learn at create a map of the area where I live. Maps by google are helping me to do this project. Is that true that a map cannot bigger than 5x5 squares and a city or multiple cities cannot be placed on more than 9 tiles of that map ? Thank you

Hello, I've plopped my first tourist attraction. It's the expo and it was full for 1st event. But what happened my city is that most of the commercial building being converted in Hotels. Now i have plenty of shoppers that are unsatisfied and unemployement is very high. How can I handle that ? Is there any way to control the Hotel growth ? Thank you

I have a lot of commercial orders that are not filled by industries, otherwise I will get unemployment problems. It seems to me that shops can work fine without any factory that produce and send freight. Any side-effects of that ? Thank you

Hi, I would like to know how can i understand when an industry or commercial zone will offer low, medium or high jobs ? Should i see the land value or density or both ? Thank you
