this is one of the highest quality cjs out there, no tolerance for the ugly diagonal step effect and wonderful BAT selection, very nice work. -

nothing special just a grimey port city

don't get discouraged by the critiques, you're progressing wonderfully, keep plugging at it and you will not only have a masterpiece but will have picked up a lot along the way.
-

-

I guess only America, can you have a shiny 60 story tower next door to a cracked up parking lot and dilapadated wooden houses and really crummy transit in a city with millions of people.quote> That's the American way. I actually really hate suburbs, particarly in North America, they bring so many social and environmental problems, it can get really terrible.quote> Evanston (chicago suburb)

you're very good at adapting to the terrain, i certainly don't have the patience to do that so i can appreciate your efforts, nice work.

Thanks everyone look for another completely new med tile city this weekend, that will be like the 4th or 5th of this cj and it's only 7 pages I'm gonna stick with the European buildings but this time a bit more gritty and with lots of industrial.

you always have made cool cities glad to see you're still active and continuing the streak.

What else do condos offer? What about stuff like size? How are rooms divided, are condos open concept?quote> if you're talking about floorplans that would vary from building to building, ranging from buildings with every unit being unique to the very repetitive. Size when it comes to condos is like every residence/apartment/home you would buy/rent and is all about prices-more money=more square footage pretty simple. Now what a good by is in terms of sqft for the dollar depends on the location, view, anemities ect, it's a balancing act and you have to find what works for you.

Chicago Spire vs. Freedom Tower

names and stupid statements that something won't fit are so played out and dumb the amount of uneducated and basless coments in this thread is incredible, i should stick to ssc when i want serious discussions on architecture as many on this site are clearly incapable. Both of these are pretty badass to me. Plenty of people will be eating crow when both of these amazing toweres are built. this is SICK! and no base, are you blind? http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/7208/csversionflargekm1.jpg http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/9318/csversionfmassive4bt7.jpg http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/7415/csversionf2hc5.jpg -

HK meets Europe -
Maxis-esque this is a real beauty, glad to see you doing some larger stuff.
-
the patience, dedication and mastery of the LE/SC4 Tool make this cj uite possibly my absolute favorite, incredible.
-
my first attempt at a European themed city, due to my need to put skyscrapers in every city it came out as more of a Europe meets Hong Kong hybrid.
