  6. Nexis

Welcome to the city of Nexis. It is a sprwaling metropolitan area that consists of three major cities: Nexis, the largest, Scerasota, the vacation spot, and Nobisco, the center for high-tech manufacturing. The map is semi customly made, consisting of half the san fernando valley map and the long beach map. i will definitely keep this up to date with pictures since this is the best city I have ever created. Busy traffic heading north on I-88 into downtown. Expect a multi-million region by the time this one is finished. I'll have more close-up pics for you as soon as possible. 8. Nexis

i have been using the name nexis for cities since sim city 2000 days. I was surprised to see that there is a member on here that goes by that name. sry for the inconvenience Nexis. i am very origional with the names of my cities (look at some of the suburban names as i continue) USA Patriot: For my cities, i use multiple boards to make up one large main city. As of now, The City of Nexis contains 12 boards and has a population of 1,221,356. Expect that population to reach around 2 or three million and the whole region to reach a population of about 10 million or more. Heres another pic of downtown.https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Nexis%20(Downtown)-Apr.%2027,%20131126040471.JPG width=1022 align=baseline>

  10. Welcome to Freeport

Gr8 job US . I can tell you took a serious amount of time working on this city. It seems different that evey city has its own independant large-scale downtown. Kind of like L.A. It would be cool if you released some of those rollercoasters to the exchange. by the way, how do you take pictures of your whole region if the screen can't fit it all on there? thanx -aaron
  11. Detroit?

the truth is that no one wants to do any cities in the mid west because they SUCK. the only cities that get made are popluar or sunny cities. i can tell you first hand because im from the mid west and no one is yet to make a great city recreation outside of indianapolis and chicago. -aaron

a greater cincinnati metro are map would be great. it there already two that are good, but one isn't to scale and the other looks akward and crooked. A map that would need to be to scale and encompass the city from Hamilton in the north to florence,ky in the south and from lawrenceburg, in in the west to western cleremont county in the east. Here are some pics to give you some ideas. http://www.soulofamerica.com/images/maps/cincinnati_map.jpg width=719> https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Cinci.jpg width=937 align=baseline> https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//Cinci%202.JPG align=baseline> this map would be great and would lead to my creating a realistic cincinnati region. thanx. -aaron

wassup. my name is aaron and im a cincinnati, ohio native. i am interested in creating the cincinnati ohio region and show you how the 2nd largest metro area in ohio works. here are some facts about cincinnati: -the whole cincinnati metro area goes all the way from dayton in the north across the ohio river to northern kentucky and west to southeast indiana. -the population of cincinnati is 314,00 -the metro area including northern kentucky and southeast indiana has a population of 2.1 million people. -conjoined cincinnati-dayton metro areas (which are less than 30 min. drives from each other) has a population of 3.1 million. -cincinnati is home of the national underground railroad museum, paramounts kings island theme park, the reds baseball team, and the bengals football team. -the tallest building in downtown is the 574 foot carew tower which was built in 1931 and makes cincinnati the second city (after new york) to have its tallest building pre world war II. -the new tallest building (queen city square) is under construction and will be done in 2008. it will be 689 feet tall. -3 years ago the movie Traffic was filmed in the historic distric over the rhine and in the villiage of indian hill which is north of the city. -here are some pictures of cincinnati, the queen city it is called. map of the cincinnati-dayton metro area downtown from kentucky aerial view of the city new queen city square office tower rendering carew tower downtown from kentucky cincinnati from the cut in the hill on interstate 75 in northern kentucky fourth street tyler davidson water fountain in fountain square 5th street in downtown the union terminal train station and natural history museum music hall symphony house in the over the rhine district this is the pnc bank. it opened in 1913 at 495 feet tall and was the tallest building in the world outside of new york. the ingalls building in downtown which was the first reinforced concrete structure in the world yeatmans cove in downtown fifth street from the carew tower. covington, kentucky across the river from downtown. dayton, the home of the wright brothers downtown dayton http://pki.com/images/visit/visit_map.jpg width=500 border=0> map of paramount's kings island amuesment park in mason. it is home of the tallest, fastest, only wooden looping coaster in the world, the son of the beast. also, the beast rollercoaster across the park is longest wooden rollercoaster in the world and the drop zone ride is the tallest free drop ride in the world. -now that you have seen the queen cit i am requesting that some one talented create the bats for this region so that i may create it in sim city 4. also it would be great if i could get a map of the whole cincinnati-dayton metro just like the map i showed previously. if some one does this, you will get to see the makings of a great city. -thanx. aaron
