Hi Thorpie, I saw that you have nuclear power. Careful with those, make sure that your citizens are well educated. You might want to consider other alternatives to the power solutions if you can. Overall it looks great.

Where do the user normally upload their photos to? Can i upload onto Simtropolis servers or i have to host it somewhere and provide the links?

Greetings Grnvlcub, I am in the villan region, if you are interested. There is one city left unclaimed at the moment. I personally run 3 cities; sound greedy but after my city was 'radioactivated', I was a little devastated so i claimed nearby city which was left unattended to by previous mayor. So i rebuild the city while waiting for my radioactive pollution to be cleared. I tried the 'COT' expansion pack and have the scrubber to try suck up the pollution. I'll post my cities in the journal soon. (Still figuring out which server should i store my snapshot of the cities). The other mayors from the neighboring cities seem to be rather quiet. Talk later on origin Now I has moved to North America server to play with a friend. He is also from this forum . We always talk much and communicate well enough I think . I built an industrial city , he built a tourist city . His shops need freight from my factories , and more than 2k people from mine shopping at his city . He helps me with my tons of garbage from industry. I help him with recycle trucks, So money is going up and we are considering which greatwork to use . Also 2 more friends has joined in and we has 4 cities now. Do you want to join us? Btw we need talkative , active majors who can play with us for a long time , not ones who can abaddon their cities after couple of weeks . I guess it wouldn't be nice to abandoned 3 cities and jumped to North America server. What i did was one of the cities which is an island, i turned them into tourism, the other two which was abandoned by previous mayor, i turned one of it into oil industry; since it has lot of raw resources especially oil and i trade with neighboring cities; including my own, and the another one which was also abandoned by previous mayor, i picked up and still working on it. That city has a connection to the great work (International airport) as it doesn't have an airport of its own, and i am sending workers to the International airport. Neighboring cities, i haven't really chat with them yet, but i do see some transports of mine and theirs are travelling between cities and i guess it could be tourist and shoppers. I was greedy for my tourist island and i build a nuclear and it melted and half island became almost useless. Nearly devastated, now i turned half of it into industry, pumping lot of money to plant trees, build recycles plant, produce TVs, Computers to export out. Residential, Commercial and Industry totally doesn't work. Half way through building it, worker left due to heavily polluted by radiation. I guess i have to wait 20 game year to have the radioactive removed. That's a lesson learned. I learned one must have lot of educated workers to have nuclear power generators. Since you are playing well and have already connection with friends from neighboring cities, just continue on where you are. I'll work out until i get my return on my investment on the cities, and i'll moved on probably try starting a new region and invite you. I'll share my cities in the cities journal section soon. It's definitely cool. I have been trying a lot designing road and my first few cities was without street car, I wanted to get a mix of every different type of roads in one single to reflect something more realistic than having everything goes into high density. great works!

Just got my cities of tomorrow today, I guess i'll stay with my current cities for a while and explore more on COT before i venture further. I'll probably try it on my current cities and see if it give me something different.

I am playing in Asia 2 region. Not a really good player and i played sandbox. At the moment, i've played 3 cities in the region. I started one on my own and pick up 2 after some mayor abandoned them. Try to rebuild the city again to keep them growing. Since the other mayor in the region does not really communicate much, i just keep playing along and maintain my city. I think there's one more city in the region that is unclaimed. Anyway... chua_augustine
