  1. Introduce Yourself Here!

Hello ST community. My name is Cooper. I am from Madison, WI. I am currently going to college in Claremont, CA. I am about to embark upon a massively ambitious project that uses the to-scale region of NYC. Though my city will be very much "New York", I also am taking a great deal of influence from my own midwestern cities (Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison). I am also pulling a lot of influence from the british suburban style, and also from Germany via the midwest (I love the neo-gothic industrial brick style of Chicago/Milwaukee). The city will be called Ixelles. I hope to make a city journal if it starts going well. I will start once I pare my plugin folder to a functional size. I am using almost strictly all plugins for my project, so thus need a large one. I'm trying to collect all of the good East Coast and Midwest W2W BATs, as well as some German W2Ws and British W2Ws (I suppose I'll throw some of those handsom Paris W2Ws in there too). To supplement, plenty of brick-based industrial BATs (love jestarr's work for this). I'm trying to wrap my head around the PEG stuff, but it might take some time. I am putting a premium on a realistic wharf-based coast, so I may need to. Let me know if any of you have any suggestions. Also, do any of the BAT masters take requests? I would love to suggest some awesome Milwaukee and Chicago buildings. I think that any of the members of the Barry Sanders Project would be able to do these buildings justice. I especially enjoy the works of nofunk, due to his/her attention to the often overlooked architecture of Milwaukee. Here is an example of one I admire: This is the YWCA Building in Madison, WI. Anyways, I am rambling for sure.
