CD Version VS NoCD-Crack Version
Snowdog replied to Nijntje123's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
There's no need for the cd, aside from the startup check if it's in it's not needed. -
I have a lot of problems now that I have changed my resolution, I have always had bad performance in sc4 really, but sicne I changed my res it has become downright unplayable. Does anyone know how I can make the game run properly without dropping detail, I know my spec can take it as my ages old ti4200 played sc4 with max details. My spec is the following: Q6700@ 3.2 ghz 6GB DDr800 4-4-4-12 CR2 8800GTS 512 ( G92 chip) 2300GB hdd's. Sim City 4 installed on a pair of Raided Seagate baracudda's 7200.10's in a stripe. Vista Ultimate X64 The game is very slow but playable on 1280x1024. The game is dog slow/unplayable @1920z1080 on when on ''play'' on large maps. Software/hardware doesn't help.

To inform, how should I know these types of responces I give arn't welcome, I'm not very active here usually, I have no idea people mean about the game, I just saw a poll, entered it, and was confused due to not finding my awnser, and expressed my opinion to the question. In presenting the options, aren't the rules essentially given to you? quote> Not imo. Ahwelll nvm sorry for posting here... Delete my posts if you feel the need to...

You've asked for it by adding no fourth option, or writing ''scs buyers only''' in the thread name or original post. There is nothing in the first post about anti scs people to get out, I know there is later on ( I just found out 2 misn ago), but on polls I don't read the thread usually just the first post. I'm just saying, I'm not used to these forums, obviously it's less orginized as I'm used to from other forums ( no posting rules in first post or thread name). I'm sorry for posting what I've posted before, but I'm not happy with the way this poll looks, I'm not used to reading to post 8 or 9 to see what the intentions/rules are before I can vote, If i see something wrong with a poll, I express my personal opinion by posting a reply and explain it.

I already have, it doesn't help, my pc seems to ignore the filenames and just load what it wants first, stupid stubborn pc . -

SFTB, Road X Street intersections non european looking
Snowdog replied to Snowdog's topic in NAM & Transit Networks
I've tried what you suggested, but no luck, I regret ever touching the NAM, I just noticed the 2 coverleaves wich were fine first have now turned concrete again, should have never touched my version of nam and euro road textures it all was perfect, I only got the nam for avenue roundabouts and for the road turning lanes, but aside that this new version just ruined the look of all my roads . I can't ever get the stuff to load when I want, even when I place zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz in front of the filename it still doesn't work often, had this problem with the asphalt highway mod about 1 year ago, but fixed it somehow by moving my whole SC4 and plugin directory's. The 2 Coverleaves now, same problem as a year ago, but this time on the custom coverleaves instead of on the ''stock'' coverleaves.: I'm at the point of giving up and leaving sc4 for another year of something, hate it when my roads get messed. -
SFTB, Road X Street intersections non european looking
Snowdog posted a topic in NAM & Transit Networks
I just installed SFTB to get nice turning lanes but it messed up the intersections of streets vs roads. They now look like this: Instead of this ( what i had before): Any idea how I can keep most of the SFTB but use the Zerbra's and road X street textures I have had till today ? EDIT, while playing on I've noticed alot of other textures gone wrong imo ( Street vs road transition, avenue vs road transition and zebra's to name a few) So I reask it in a different way: Is it ppossible to keep the highway textures, roundabouts and the road turning lanes of the SFTB but keep EVERYTHING else from the old Euro road textures mod? -
Just a basic stadium with public transport and parkign space. I really need to get a nicer stadium .

Nice fairground in that post btw, I'd never have enough patience to finish such a big project like that, looks better than in rollercoaster tycoon lol.

price of gas where you live and car consumption
Snowdog replied to kanella's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning
Date: 10/5/2005 12:51:30 PM Author: Bart_Betrwrld I'm from Amsterdam. The day Katrina hit New Orleans, I filled my car for 1.56 euro per liter. That's 1.56 x 1.2 x 3.785 = $7,09 per gallon. yaay I win I really hate living here in the Netherlands if it comes to gas prices, the governement takes about 55-70% of the fuel price as tax welcome to page 3! -
