wow that is ever so simple but truly effective ~ great job and thanks for sharing your tutorial. btw are you totally self taught or do you have any good sites to list for tutorials? like i said im pretty handy ~ see walnut creek for my current work (sorry shameless plug) but i always like to expand my knowledge especially since im starting university in 5 weeks and i'll be using these types of programs in more demanding ways. thanks again ~kaji

simply fantastic work... i could definetly tell what it was just came to the thread too late.. lol.. nothing really i can advise on although i wondered if you could explain a little how you created such a complex roof for the stadium? i like to know the theory behind these things.. always interesting to see how somone approaches a project / task =) ~kaji

the best and only way i know of to edit textures is through image editing software such as adobe photoshop or GIMP (i think thats what its called lol) and then the texture has to be applied in BAT/ Gmax.. a UV map always helps to get the best out of a texture.. soz for the short reply its geting late im sure somone can expand also maybe this thread would have been better suited in the BAT Workstop forum? so in short i think the only way to edit textures on a model is on a bat.. i know no different =/ ~kaji

hmm..... my first question would be: are you using the sc4 BAT are just the standalone gmax? as it looks like gmax to me ~maybe thats why youre having problems? second question would be what stadium is that? no offence but there is hardly any detail that i can see from that pic and no textures so its quite hard to make out what it is =/ however, i admire your efforts if you hate bat'ing / modeling so... lol i dont know many others that hate doing their hobbies lol.. well good luck and hope we can see some fruits of your labour soon ~kaji

another great update and very unlucky about them bleachers. so do the seats take a long time then to construct? ~kaji
-
lol fair enough .. google saves all once again one other question then. if youre just using photos, and have never been to such a stadium, how do you know the correct scales? is it just guesswork? even if it is its still great! =) ~kaji
-
great "minor update" as you call it looks pretty good to me i guess you have some pretty good resources then to BAT the stadium if you have never seen or been to such a staidum? ~kaji
-
just hot and sunny in the south of england.. just the usual then its nice for beach but cant always get down there everday lol. the humidity makes sports useless in this weather. hopefully some thunderstorms are on their way then ~kaji
