I normally would feel the same way, but in my opinion Mario Kart 8 was a complete game as it was. If Nintendo never released any DLC (as I previously expected), the game would still have been enjoyable and sufficient enough in content to satisfy me for years of fun. For me, the extra 16 tracks doubles the lifespan of this game on my shelf, and I'm willing to pay for it. Plus, $12 for both pakcs is a screaming deal. That's essentially half of the base game for %20 of the cost.

Already preordered. The 16 new tracks was enough to warrant an insta-purchase for me.

Good thing I didn't buy a 3DS XL recently, like I was considering. I'm assuming that, due to the resemblance of the "new" lettering and the Amiibo logo, and the fact that the first figurines and prices were revealed today, this 3DS will include Amiibo support, which I don't care so much about. However, the improved 3D, longer battery life, ability to back up data, and better CPU are big pluses for me. Nintendo releases yet another product that I feel obligated to buy. I love you, Nintendo, but I hate you.

I remember it like it was yesterday... Our benevolent Dirktator was overthrown in a coup staged by the SC'13 players, who wanted Simtrop to be entirely devoted to the new SimCity. After the revolution, they established a tyrannical government which banned anyone who mentioned SC4. All the while, the NAM team planned a counter-revolution to restore Dirk to the throne and bring freedom and equality back to ST. When they carried out their plans, a great battle ensued between the SC4 players and SC'13 players. Both sides suffered severe losses, but the SC4 players were in worse condition. Then, at their greatest moment of need, Will Wright descended from the heavens and restored peace. Dirk and the admins once again reign in goodness, and people are free to discuss whatever SimCity they choose. The end.

It's certainly a unique take on the horror genre. I think the concept is quite interesting.

I thought it was good, but I prefer Chris Pratt as the happy-go-lucky characters Andy on Parks and Rec and Emmet in The Lego Movie than as the tough guy space hero, Star-Lord. And even though he can only say three words, I like Groot the best.

gameplay > music > graphics Take Minecraft as an example. It certainly doesn't have ultra-realistic graphics, but it's unique pixel style gives it its charm. I've played games with much better graphics, but Minecraft is still my favorite.

There's another question: do you guys plan on purchasing the game for the Wii U, 3DS, or both? I plan on getting it for the Wii U. Smash Bros. + HD graphics = yes.

I think you're going to hear this from a lot of people: SimCity '13. The small city tiles, inability to build cities adjacent to each other, problems with traffic - not to mention the fact that it won't even run on my computer anymore, even though it meets the minimum requirements and used to work fine. In general, there were just a lot of things that felt unrealistic in the game, which is the opposite of what I wanted from a new SimCity game.

I searched the forum, but couldn't find another topic like this one, so I decided to make it myself. Whether you still play SC4 or gave it up, if you're a member of this site, you probably have played it at some point. Most likely, your first city wasn't your best, but it can be fun to look back and see what you built your first time. In this thread, you can show the community your first city/cities and see what others' look like too.
