Not sure about the harsh reviews but I kind of like Societies. More ground level interaction than classic SC. Wish I had more games like these. They are quite immersive. Since, I micromanage an office in my day job

Have the game, and loving every bit of it. Much more micromanagement than SimCity classic for sure but I like the complexity. Very good and relaxing because if you got a solid city plan, it practically runs itself :3 It may be different than the usual but there's no harm being different, is there?

Hola :3 I literally grew up with the classic SimCity games, now rediscovering the magic with Societies :3 The micromanagement is relaxing and even beneficial to training RL productivity skills for my office kittens :3 - Meow
