Oaky, for my new CJ I on propose created a city (medium tile) and placed a nuclear power plant next to it. I make it go BOOM! So after speeding up to SYR 27 I click the street in the ghost town because I re-connected it with the main highway. To which goes through a new city I built just south (see picture) and what do I see 140 some sims some how work in the radiation soaked town! Seriously they are smartenough not to live in the radiation, but dumb enough to work in it! Which this always made me wonder is it just a game glitch or are the sims really this stupid? Unlike many I suppose, I enjoy nothing more than annoying the crap out of my sims (the ones you select from a list and plop into your city) and/or my advisers. So I maxed out my police funding which I normally get complaints, but I've never had one like this. I guess I never realized how political Sim City can get.

Kate: Well as the islands largest daily paper, it has for many years broke the big stories from all over the island and the nation. Currently ten members of the national Congress worked for the daily and the Vice Prime Minister. Though it may not be the largest paper in the nation, for many years its received the National Awards for Excellent Journalism beating out the Federation, the largest daily paper in the country. John: Very good you do know much about the Daily. Now look we are no no sense you are expected to do what you are told and to be on time if not early. Make that always early. Compared to the other departments it's pretty laid back our stories hardly make it to the paper. After five years working her and about four hundred stories only one made it. Kate: So what am I supposed to do? Jess: Right now..uh..nothing really. Our stories deadline was about an hour ago so now its time just to relax. Kate: ​I was told this is inappropriate but i'll ask anyhow, how much do you get paid. Jess: Heck shouldn't you know how the pay system in the country works, each employee of a company is paid 0.001% of the companies total net profit. Well everyone like me and you if you get lucky are paid $4,465 a month. Interns I think is about half that. Kate: Of course where I come from that's a lot, i'm guessing here not the same. Jess: You are correct, my apartment is only 200 square feet yet costs me $500 a month. So have you found a place? Kate: Well yes, it is only to be temporary and cheap, around $150 a month. The place is called Mountie Bills' Cabins. Jess: ​My suggestion for you, when you get your first pay check at the end of the month get out of there, over the past year eighteen people have been killed around there. Not a good place to be living, full of drug dealers, prostitutes, rapists. (6 pm) Kate: thank you for helping me get to this place...I guess I may just take your advice. Jess: Please do so, this is not a place for you to live. The daily has had two interns killed here in the past. Get that pay check and find a better place. Also remember to be in by nine, no latter or you wont be off to a good start with Diane. Bus fee is one dollar, subway requires a pass which you can get at city hall for $80, good for one month. Kate: Well we had about..jezz the city is bad about cleanliness, over seven thousand pieces. So after several months of not playing SC4, I decided to re-install it, everything going fine until the activation code appeared. I hit a snag, I can not find my activation code (thus I do not know where I put my manual). Every popular movement of 21st century America from early on has extremists from left-right get attached to it, then hijack the movement its self. The Tea Party was made up of (in 2007) of I believe mostly Ron Paul supporters who only wanted a fair argument, less taxes, govt and end the wars. However right wing extremists attached themselves to it then after Obama took office hijacked it into something it was never meant to be. Now we are seeing the same thing to the Occupy Movement left-wing extremists (anarchists) from early on attached themselves to it and now are also trying to hijack it. See only in America popular movements can always be bought out to the highest bidder. Tea Party (Koch bros. R. Murdoch) OWS (???) Now I'm not a Ron Paul supporter at all but this is why he'll never be elected president, the corporations that make billions off war (which now are losing millions) would fight hard to make sure Ron Paul isn't given a fair chance in presidential elections (which they have done). Why well unlike Romney, Obama, Ryan, Biden Ron Paul is a veteran and opposes wars. If we had a president who opposed any or all wars the military industry of this country would go out of business. Ron Paul said during a GOP debate, "let Iran have a nuclear weapon after all what can they do with it?" Invading Iran over just one is stupid. Mitt Romney said during the GOP Convention that the US should put troops in Syria, while he also supports invading Iran. Obama probably has the same things in mind, but wont say it openly.

After 2014 when the Affordable Health Care Act is fully enacted the next bar will be lower just a bit. Before 2010 the obvious difference between the US and the seven others is that our health care insurance companies worked for-profit, not any more though. Another difference is that maybe four of those nations use what I call European Capitalism, a system that where if the company succeeds that success will overlap onto the workers salary. Where here in the US we have American Capitalism where if the company succeeds you either get laid off or your salary goes down so that the CEO gets that $10 million bonus that he doesn't need.

Fear is used as a weapon by the GOP to scare people to the voting booths and to scare them in voting for them. Now the GOP uses fear because they made up some lie saying that Obama is a Socialist even the Socialist Party USA denies that. They also use hate very well, how to hate Gays and Muslims and now Obama and the left. Emperor Dikeston Wester II took control of the Empire after he killed Emperor Lord Van Housker once being fully recognized he immediately created the Emperor's Guard which would serve both the Emperor, but also the people. By mid summer of that same year while Emperor Kingsted was sleeping one of Lord Hamplits men went into the royal chambers and killed Emperor Kingsted. The following day Lord Hamplit declared himself King of the Kingdom of The Royal Kingdom of Alkoul, which means "Strong" in Alkoulian language that few people at this time spoke. One of the most notable ideas that King Hamplit created in the kingdom was a parliament in which members were voted into. Alkoul was one of the world first Parliamentary Democracies. Those in the Kingdom who were permitted to vote was also a first, both men and women over the age of 26 were allowed to voted, until 1345 when they Voting Act was passed, which lowered the age down to 23. King Hamplit ruled until 1312 when his son, Prince Mock Hamplit I was crowned King. It wasn't till 1678 when Alkoul would have an other king who would implement new ideas into the world. In 1678 King Ronald Myto came to power and one of his favorite ideas was to annex Alkouls neighbor the Kingdom of Pine. At this time his "idea" was some what insane do to the fact that the Kingdom of Pine had an army three times the size of Alkouls, but King Myto thought of a way around this, he knew that Pine was in financial trouble after waging war with its neighbor the Queendom of Zerica, in which left the country deeply in debt, so much in fact that it wasn't able to pay its army. So with a majority vote in favor, Alkoul sent a diplomatic party to Pine City the Kingdom of Pines' capital, to have them agree on a deal that would make the kingdom of Pine part of Alkoul. It worked. In 1878, the Kingdom of The Royal Kingdom of Alkoul was at war, with its main enemy; The Republic of Zerica, was a nation that hated any type of nation that had a monarch has its ruler. The war lasted four six long years, until a formal treaty was signed ending the Kingdom-Republic War, however peace between the two nations wouldn't last long. in 1909 the Republic of Zerica had, had enough with the Kingdom of Alkoul and launched an invasion force of nearly 150,000 to force the kingdom to dissolve, it almost worked. If SC2013 is as good as EA is saying and many who love playing SC4 agree I don't think it will die, SC4 is nine - going on ten years old and it's alive as ever. Plus WOW =/= SC. Sim City is ever changing it never stays the same WOW (never played it) for many finally got boring.

(I'm quite politically minded so this might be a bit long) As a huge Obama supporter I found the GOP convention mostly pathetic! Ryans speech that was filled with lies, blaming Obama for a GM plant that closed in Dec, 2008. Saying that it's solely Obama's fault for the credit down grade. That the economy is worse today than four years ago. The current republican party each year keeps stepping to the extreme right and every time they do so, they lose more support with those that are still mentally sane. Todd Akins remarks on "legit rape" now have half that party taking that as a fact and many of those blame the victim! Last week and twice this year a GOP state senator told reporters that the Holocaust is the biggest lie of the 20th Century. The GOP really hasn't any real ideas for the future of America, instead they want to let lobbyists and corporate benefactors dictate what policies they should take up. The GOP's lie about "wide spread voter fraud" is hilarious, if they weren't trying to suppress others voting rights, mostly blacks and younger voters (18-30). In 2008 the GOP found out which voting bloc was their greatest threat for survival, and it was the one that overwhelmingly voted for Obama, i'm talking about my voting bloc 18 to 30 year olds. Now why does the GOP want to suppress our voting rights? Well I think it might having something to do with the fact that they haven't hid their thirst for more wars. During the convention I think it was Romney who said we need to invade Sryia, he supports invading Iran. The Gop wants to stay in Afghanistan and to re-invade Iraq, oh and want to bring back the draft. For a party that claims to be pro-life they really like letting people die. In the Obama commercial that stars Bill Clinton it is too true, that come November we have two clear choices. Obama wants America to grow but not just the rich, we need to grow this country from the bottom up, end the wars. Put America back to work, invest heavily in infrastructure (thus putting people back to work). The Health Care law will give everyone health care, and when Health care is a right and not a privilege people will be able to save more money and spend more. Invest more in education and cleaner energy, make America great again in education, because right now world wide we're ranked 26th(?). Romney and the GOP just wants to go back to the god awful Bush years. More wars, more debt. Back in the time when Europe hated us and so did most of the world. With such a string economy it is no surprise to know that Alkoul's private sector is always adding jobs to the economy. However though some times it does hit a snag and stall for a short period of time. Traveling through the highlands

The DMZ between Zerica and the nation who they fought to become an independent state, Alkoul. Two completely different political and economic polices separated by only a few hundred yards.

I just hate the fact that the sims are so stupid. Several times i've moved in a "My sim" right next to a school or fire station, hospital, ect and then (after a few game months) complain about the lack of. Or if I make a Nuclear power plant explode they know better not to live there but they still work there. Oh well luckily EA and Maxis didn't think to give the sims to many brains or else i'd be having riots all the time.

Couldn't imagine why . I like build American cities (guess why) and sometimes North Korean (Stalinist) cities.
