The lots from what i seen have always a fixed size, to make that size smaller is possible but like GlobexCo told its almost impossible due to hard work redesigning everything. About the Placing system that can be done, from what i have read in cities xl there is mods with extra tools to place buildings. What Focus could do is make new buildings smaller and keep the bigs, but to give a variety it would need to much design.

I would like to see a mode made possible to make junctions of roads. Something like the junctions with Highway. At the start of the game we can't build highway and it takes too much time to be able to do it. and managing this would be great. I had a look in All_layouts.pak and it seams to be a way to do this, but there is so many files for each road and i didn't tryed to make a change. The idea would be if we intersect a road in diagonal and put this road with a 1 way road it would not create a intersection (the game call it a box intersection) but instead it would create a junction. this way we could really increase the traffic speed on the game. and btw we all know this is how it works in real life.

I think its a know issue, and you can fix by connecting another road to that and then delete it. You can for example connect a farm road to the bugged road and it will fix the level. then delete the farm road.
