Thank you NAM you just made a couple of inaccesible areas in my city accesible to my firefighters and for UDI. Just in case anyone is wondering ferrys can go through these bridges, I think the bridges are basically invisible to them.

You may be surprised by my answer, but yeah I can see a group of states successfully secceeding. Why, because our Federal troops are spread so thin, from occupying Japan, Iraq, Afganistan, and all those bases we have world wide. In addition to the fact the government has no money, and we lost our industry to China. However from my studies of history a civil war usually erupts when there is a huge difference in culture within a country's border. Taking the Civil War as an example North industrious and technologically advanced. The South mainly farming country that allows slavery and technologically backward. So I don't think right now we're ripe for a civil war but maybe in 10 or 20 years if we continue to allow illegal aliens to cross into the country whenever they feel like it, yes. I will however agree that congress is destroying the founding fathers intent. They've violated the 4th amendment so many times it must have been erased. As well as Lincoln being disgusted but not just the GOP, the country in general and I think the same would apply to the founding fathers.

The Founding Fathers had already decided this, Federal Government was designed to deal in mostly foreign affairs. The States themselves are to provide the domestic care. Since in reality the United States is really an alliance of 50 smaller countries locked in a permanent alliance. Though the Founding Fathers thought this "alliance" would break one day, in fact they'd be amazed the Union still exists. If you think I'm lying read the "The Federalist Papers".

Uh-oh it appears we had a tornado can't imagine how those cities got hit eh? Here's this weeks article. Here are the whole images of the weather as I feel the smaller photos in the articles don't do much justice. Lightning hitting Ceder Lake Ceder Heights Twister Breeze Twister Tornado damage in Breeze with ambulance looking for survivors. Personally I think I might overdone the green stormy look I probably should of used a lighter green. Don't worry though I've been told the mayors exited without saving.

Just downloaded and tested it appears to be way more stable now. Before if I try placing tram pieces around hilly places it crashed unless I built them on roads. Now it I can place wherever I please. Thank you NAM team Out of curiosity did anyone have the problem I mentioned or was it just me? -

I remember being on the school bus on a clear blue day only a few clouds. Sun shining in, I was sitting quietly while everyone was chattering away excitedly, in my memory it would of been any "normal" day in Highland, IL. However that changed as soon as I popped into my first class. Our American History teacher came in the room with nervous excitement and told or English teacher to turn on CNN. We see the first tower burning and about 5 seconds later the second plane hit. At first I thought it was video footage of the first plane that crashed, at least until I heard the reporter saying " A second plane as hit the other tower, this is no accident. We are under attack." The next class Math, the teacher her TV on CNN, but the volume was turned off. However I was paying more attention to that than the math teacher. Few days later it hit me that I had watched people die on live television, it was an odd feeling. I will remember the day the barbaric cowards killed 2,000 people who were just living their lives. May God bless the victims and their families.

I decided I'd like to try out a city journal, So here is my newest region started about a couple of weeks ago. It's not very big but I do take my time and do play around with UDI. The region is supposed to be a kind of midwestern group of cities, unfortunatley have deviated a bit from this vision. Now the idea of this journal is to attempt to bring back those fun humorous newspaper articles you may have seen in Sim City 2000. Currently the idea is to kind of sit back and make fun of some of the problems my cities are having. Although maybe later I might unleash disasters to make articles. Anyway enjoy the first newspaper entry although it is more of a rough draft. I added this here in case you couldn't read some of the city names in the newspaper.

In my case I try to make small city tiles as locations for a small city feel. Like in the current region I have one small tile that has farms built on the edges of the city and the city of course is dead center. Another small tile is basically a small island in the middle of a river. However I can't resist building them to higher densities however, that farm city for example has a lot of low rise apartments in it. Thought it does give it a unique look with the Chicago Tileset.

Where at and how old? I happen to be looking for a car myself, and this will fall well below my price range.

Funny how I've played the Sim City series starting with SC2000 and I'm Conservative. Thanks to Sim City 2000 which I played at around age 7 I learned that constantly borrowing money keeps putting me into debt. I also learned to solve problems related to traffic, meeting supply and demand, and spending money that I need to spend to keep up with the demand. Interestingly enough I also learned that when I serve my virtual sims with what they need, my reward was prospering city that made money where the wealth of both the citizen and the city grew. Now if politicians on both sides were to do that then maybe the Republic of the United States of America will prosper, maybe we should make the politicians play Sim City 4.

Ever notice what happens when you add mass transit?
guns_of_fire replied to A Nonny Moose's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Originally posted by: Dennislp3 Wealthy don't like mass transit (from what I understand). So perhaps the wealthy come because the roads are more open? (since lower class/average people are using mass transit). Population increase would be from the infrastructure (Roads in this case) can support more people. Also mass transit affects sims on its own doesn't it? (even if traffic isn't a problem its seen as a feature that they want). Also it would affect pollution (depends on how much traffic it alleviates of course)...and that affects a few things...who would have thought it would be so complex to place a few small things lolquote> Actually I didn't mean that it gave me high wealth developments. What I meant to say was I built a monorail station in Low Wealth Residential and it developed at least in the area near the station into Medium Wealth. Though you may have a point about that they may have developed just because the road was less congested, because hardly anyone was actually using the monorail. Only 200 - 400 people were using it. Most of them were using the subway which was about 1000. -
You may have already done this but have you tried looking at your water graph? It shows a clear representation of how much water is produced, the dark line and the water consumed, the blue line. If blue is really close to the dark line you simply need more water as the city you're selling to is probably going a lot than you have left. I make this dumb mistake every time I try to sell power.
