Thanks, I link them to the CJ section so we don't have to do our journals twice. I suppose adding journals to this would help our journals out but still. Players are also welcome to join. Just message me for more info on how to join.

Zombie Attack!

If only SC13 had a mod for that... I wont risk modding it in fear it may crash the game. -

Question about taxes
FourteenRocket replied to Ed_Lane885's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
I find the best combination for taxes is keeping Low wealth at 11%, and Medium and High Wealth at about 10%... if you have built the Dept. of Finance early on you could push it to 11% for a few months until Sims abandon buildings from taxes... But you should go no higher than 11% on low wealth and 10% on medium and high for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Make sure you keep an eye on your income and turn things off when nessesary. An exception would be if you lost $50,000 an hour but make $600,000 in return from trade . I got a city to do that from having making computers tvs and processors with selling alloy and metal to boot. -
Smelting factory always closed
FourteenRocket replied to MOWS 4 U's topic in SimCity (2013) Region Games
This shouldn't be in region games AND make more housing available for sims plus leave fair amounts of land available for higher density housing when you upgrade your roads. -

Welcome to the CIty of Iron Shores! City: Iron Shores Mayor: FourteenRocket/14Rocket Population: 61,500 Former Trading Port of New Washington City Specialization: Formally: Trade/Metals/Oil/Mining, Present: Tourism Iron Shores was named after the rich iron deposits that once laid under its soil. At about the turn of the century, the iron deposits and oil that made the city prosperous ran dry, and the heavy industry polluted the land killing the surrounding vegitation, and sickened many people. At about the time the mines were running dry, some enviromentalists moved into the city and sped up the demise of the industry that made the city a major trading hub of New Washington. The mines were quickly shut down, and to prevent economic collapse, the city soon began a development plan that was to reclaim the abandon land, and just after a few months after each mine shut down, the city began to develop over the land, and in some cases, letting nature reclaim the land to reduce pollution to safe levels foe people to settle on. 20 years later, the city is begining to bounce back, taking advantage of the beaches and tourism it recieves from the surrounding area. Iron Shores only a few decades before the industry sector failed. Iron Shores today. The City wakes up to a hot summer day. Overlooking the sea. The Beach District. Iron Hieghts. Rust Bridge.

Simcity Ep 4 - Improved Trading & Zombies
FourteenRocket commented on Ryan123220's City Journal Entry in Reflection Atoll CJ
lol You fed the zombies with the ambulence driver and the patient, what you need to do is isolated the clinic in a small city by destroying roads around it to contain the zombies (they're too stupid to walk from one froad to another by grass), and make sure your ploice force is large enough to contain the zombies -
Best revise that survry, didn't expect I'd be on the line! I based my morals on equality for the greater good, and partially for the state to help when it's needed and not needed for society.

Edited and revised by Dr. Boom/Viportools/Mayor Spears. City: Freeport Mayor: Martin Spears (Viportools) Population: 68,000 Country: Republic of Amoroff City Specialization: Trade/Oil Welcome to the city of Freeport. Founded by the trading tycoon Martin Spears in the thirties (2034), Freeport had undergone massive growth, and is now the biggest port in the Republic of Amoroff. As an industrial center, Freeport undeniably the main contributor to Amoroff's pollution problem, although efforts have been made to "go green". Freeport's greatest exports are a dwindling oil supply and an increasing supply of alloy and plastic. Originally known as "Bamberg Basin", Freeport's name references the freedom of capitalism and the fact it is a port. (No relation to Everquest). Freeport's politics are mainly conservative oriented with a wealthy elite and white collar engineers and scientists dominating the scene. Freeport is based off of typical American ports, such as Philadelphia, Boston or the Port of South Louisiana and Orleans. Census puts Freeport's population at about 68,000. While not the biggest city in the country, Freeport is vital to it's economy. Here are photos from Freeport's birth... ~2,500 citizens: The southern end, this was the sight of the future harbor. ~7,500 citizens... I started to develop the southern end. Had to plan ahead and might as well start early. I placed some wealthy parks, and to my surprise a whole bunch of rich sims decided to move in. Perhaps it was the ocean view that compelled them? Jump ahead to ~25k. Medium and high density start to appear in great numbers. I was very surprised with the high wealth high density since it usually doesn't appear until much later. I was surprised at the rate of growth as well, I didn't manage to get ~15k pop. pictures! ~30,000. I placed a lot of civic services, such as a high school and a large police station. All of my high wealth homes have become high density skyscrapers, somewhat in contrast to the rest of the city. I also had made a casino in the corner there, to attract some of the tourists constantly flowing into the region. During that time I was also working on my trade specialization, while drilling for oil and selling it on the market for a good amount. I was able to get the Trade Headquarters quite quickly. I had also encouraged (cheated in a way) in getting high tech industry by placing Dr. Vu right next door, and it helped boost the tourists and freight sales. During this time something regrettable happened: I had a zombie attack which nearly wiped out my city! Over 10,000 citizens were dead and 80 buildings abandoned and had to be demolished. I wish I could of taken pics, but I was too busy panicking. I did manage to grab a picture of the regrowth that happened afterwards... Here's some pictures of Freeport currently: The actual freight port... A nice shot of the industrial park... The more than modest poor parts of town... City hall. I really like this picture... And now, the entirety of Freeport from afar... I hope you enjoyed it! More pictures to come soon.

I play it because the multiplayer aspect i like a bit... i enjoy the game but SC4 definately has a special place in my heart. -
Hello! So I've had the new Sim City for about two weeks now, and granted it has its flaws and things could be done much better, I enjoy it a lot and I enjoy some of the features like freely rotating the camera to get different perspectives of each city I make. Unfortunately, I get about a few years into the cities I make and the neighboring cities I make for garbage don't collect enough garbage and my Sims get sick. And once that starts to get everyone sick my city begins to fail and I lose significant funds. However, I was able to get some pictures while my cities thrive. Enjoy some of these pictures. Keep in mind all of the pictures at the top are newer and the ones towards the bottom are older so some of them may appear out dated, so progress is the upper pictures. makes for good land value for other sky scrapers, and turns out a nice profit if there werent so many germs.
