Most Welcoming to Newcomers 2015

Some just give a simple "Welcome to the site" to new members who join the site. This member was always there to meet and greet newcomers to the community.

During 2015, Tonraq was a staple at the Introduce Yourself Thread. He's sadly not as active as before, but other members have taken this welcoming role.

Best Use of Added Media 2015

Not all that we see in City Journals is real. But of them all, this CJ stood out above them all with the best use of added graphics, sound, or video in a CJ at Simtropolis.

Besides the CJing aspect, Okaiken's updates were always spiced by a video, a music piece, a mosaic, a piece of Japanese culture... All contributing to create a unified image for Okaiken and to take the reader a bit beyond the CJ. 

Best Asian Style City Journal 2015

This award goes to the CJ which is the best example of a city created in the style of other Asian cities.

Okaiken is what first pops in mind when we think of Asian cities and towns. Modern high-rises, sprawling metropolises, densely packed residential units, an efficient transportation system... given us a very authentic taste of Japanese cities & culture and his constancy regardless of time period he is working in simply remarkable. Sometimes I even thought that Okaiken looked much better than some real Asian cities.

Fun, Frivolity, and Fact-Finding Facilitators 2013

Sometimes the "rules" of the games need enforcing and sometimes site related issues need explaining. These groups help us in regulating those areas while still keeping things light and fun.

Simtropolis isn't always serious. It's also a place to let our hair down and have some fun playing games and discussing other city-builder games. This team of moderators helps keep those moving along even if not always totally serious.

Creative Content Crew 2013

Whether assisting others in their construction projects or merely directing traffic, these teams perform a helpful service in our SC4 Builder Forums.

Providing expert support and keeping things from toppling over is how these staff members help us and our members keep things straight in the development and completion of their projects.
