Very original City Journal, I really like where it's going. Never thought I could see someone dramatize a city journal. Shame if it does have to go to waste, but I 100 percent agree that life always comes first. City reminds me a lot of Toronto. I think the pic of the financial district gave it away, but I did notice the BMO Building in the gameplay pics as well.

Unsure whether or not this has been answered yet, but I am curious if bridges for the 6 lane, 8 lane, and 10 lane highways will ever be made?- 3,919 Replies

Is it possible to have multiple downtowns?
seb_s23 replied to De Ja Vu's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning
Yeah, there are loads of cities with multiple downtowns out there. New York (pretty much all the boroughs) Tokyo (Well, the whole city is pretty much a downtown) Toronto (Downtown, Scarborough Town Centre, North York Centre) London The list goes on! -

Well, I agree that Simcity 4 is amazing as is, but if they're willing to make a Simcity 5 that has all the same features but includes new features as well, then I'd definitely check it out. But the only thing they could really do at this point is expand on mod content. Hell, it's usually better if they feature stuff that was formerly mod content, since that way the game will be designed better to have it (provided they don't screw it up ) Some things that would be cool: - More advanced road options (choosing road width, cul de sacs, roundabouts, interchanges, lane control, pedestrian streets etc.) - More transit options (Light Rail system, Bus Rapid Transit). - More advanced options in controlling development - Maybe perhaps some different styles to choose from (i.e. historic, early 20th century, modern, postmodern, futuristic, etc.) There's my two cents.
