    Sorry to triple post in my own thread, but here is the next update. Before you think anything about the fact that the whole building isn't visible, I didn't refit the LODS on purpose so that I could show a closeup of the detail of the center of the hub. Day: Night: I really like the way the wings have turned out, the omnis realy show the furniture well. These are low render previews and I hope to have high quality as the full view comming sometime later today. Hope you all enjoy the shots, and once again, sorry for the tripple post.

    Here are some updated pictures of the main part of the hub (sans gates area). I have a day shot and a night shot with the lights. Please note that the light in the lower area is brighter than it will appear because I have no windows on that area yet because I will be adding those as each wing is added.     No monkey, I zoomed in the shot to show some detail. I was also planning on maybee having a static tram at the entrance to the terminal, what do you think? I appreciate all of your comments so far and I look forward to finishing this as much as all of you.

    Yes blademaster it will fit into the airport pack, and each hub will be about 8x8. These will be much smaller than my previous attempt because just the wing was a 4x2 before. The area that is jutting out is the roof area for the tram entrance. Hope you all enjoy the updates.

    For those of you who have been watching this thread, my appologies for not having anything in so long. I had 3 leadership events for fraternity/school and then school started and now that I am past the 3rd week I have a little more time to contribute to this BAT. I have started over because I figured out that the terminal the way I wanted it would fill a small city square so here is a quick render of the new gates area for each of the hubs. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//new%20gates.JPG align=baseline> Some of the textures are not present, but I think this one looks much better. I think the arms are much better than those posted above and was able to add much more detail to the area than I had before. I will continue to work on this throughout the week and may have some major updates for you as the week goes on.

Two of my favorite intersections come from metro Detroit (Royal Oak/Ferndale are) they are the Woodward/696/10 mile road interchange area: https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//696woodward.jpg align=baseline> Woodward goes straight across on the top so that you can utilize the 10 mile area, and goes through a tunnel under 696 for straight through traffic continuing north or south on Woodward. 696 goes under the top part of Woodward and above the tunnel part. Another one of my favorite intersections is the 696 and 75 interchange less than a mile east of the one above: https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//69675.jpg align=baseline> You see 75 going below 696 with the interchange ramps, 10 mile, and the 75 service roads all going below 696.     I am planning on making each hub as an individual item with the central terminus as an individual lot also. I plan on the central terminus being a hotel with jobs and each hub acting as an individual terminal for calculations. The monorail(non-functional) will also be included as puzzle pieces and basically just be eye candy to tie it all in together. Thanks for the comments, updates comming soon.

    It will all be one lot, and should be pretty big, Im not sure how many tiles it will be, but if I leave the gates the size they are now, it is 120 meteres long as is, so probably close to 600x600 meters, but I will most likely scale it down some.     First off, thanks for the comments, and no men2xcess, the monorails will be eyecandy only. I have some update pictures of the details of what the gates area will look like. There are 12 gates in this section and each hub will have 5 of these with 4 hubs thus having 240 gates.   16. Coastal Plop Buildings - WTF?

    get the PEG CDK Leveler from off the stex and it will allow you to terraform your coastal area in a 1x4 or 4x4 box at no cost. It will pull your coastal land to an even height and allow you to place the ferry a little easier. Hope this helps

    Yes, I'm pretty sure it can happen. You just need to wait for the powers that be(those who have the power to create such a thing) to log in and see this idea to get an answer. There is no need for you to quote yourself so much on the same page or even within 20 minutes of each other, it eats up our precious bandwidth. I think it would be an awesome idea to have DD highways in the game.

    I know my absence has been long..... but I do have some good news!!!!!!! I just saved a bunch of money on my car insuance by switching to GEICO...... But seriously RLS has taken up way too much of my time lately.     Well, here is the Kent County Courthouse. I still have some work to get done on it, like the park area around the front and some nightlighting, but I just wanted to see how you all liked it. When this is done, I will need some help with querry and jobs, it will be set up as a CO$$ with about 450 jobs because in reality the courthouse acts as an office building for the Sherrifs Department, Probation, and a few other county agencies.

    Sorry for my absence everyone. I have been real busy at work, school, etc. for a pretty long time and have been unable to contribute. I threw this together tonight and was wondering if you all liked this. I would like to upload this as our HQ if it is acceptable to you all. It will sit on a 4x6 lot and will need some help giving it jobs and maybee a cool query. I have also been trying to get Comerica working right and am having some success, the problem I believe I was having is that I had over 90,000 polys and I think that is to many for the game to recognize. This model above is largewr than Comerica and only has about 40,000 polys, so I have figred out ways to cut them down. Congrats on that GPA Wolverine, you did better than me, I took 4 3 credit classes and one 5 credit class and had all A's and a B+, I begged the prof for an A because I was only one point off, but no luck. I was dissapointed with last nights game, but we kept it tight in a game that everyone except for Wolverine fans said we had absolutely no chance of compeeting in. Happy New Year all, and I hope everyones holidays have gone well.

    I am an Engineering major with concentration in robotics and computers. I am currently on a wait list at several very good engineering schools, but Michigan has always been my preference. I was supposed to go to Michigan back in 91 when I graduated from HS on a full ride football scholarship, but I got hurt in the state championship game and the doctors told me that I would be unable to play for 2 years...... so Bo pulled my scholarship and gave it to someone else. I healed very quickly, and would have been able to play the next year(no scholarships left) so I entered into the largest semi-pro payed to play draft in the country, and was a high first round pick (#3). I played 2 years in the league and then went over to Europe to play for the Rhine Fire and was once again hurt on the day that I was to find out if I was to be picked up by an NFL team (the Lions were in negotiations with my agent along with 3 other teams) and thus my football career ended.Maybee this could have been the Jon Decker Project HA HA HA... just kidding.
